Answer:	There is an unacceptably long delay for it to start recording, up to 10 seconds where it says "please wait." Also clunky and clumsy to use, poor interface. I returned it and got an Olympus VN-541PC which has a button you can slide to ACTUALLY start recording instantly.

Answer:	Hi RAF,There was a mistake in the tutorial and I apologize, we are getting it corrected and should have the updated tutorial up on YouTube and on our Techerific website by tonight. You want to plug that green and red cable into the mic port of the DeciVibe. Use the male male 3.5mm cable (with identical ends) from your headphone port on your phone to the green hole of the included adapter, and the included lapel external mic will go into the red hole of the adapter to record your voice. Next plug in your earbuds into the DeciVibe on the right side. In the Record From settings set it to Microphone instead of Line in. And in the Monitoring Settings select ON. Press the back key near the top twice to exit and save your settings. You'll want to keep noise cancellation off and adjust the headphone/speaker volume on your phone until both voices are equal, in your earbuds you will be able to hear how it's going to sound to equalize their voice and your voice volume perfectly. Please note there are no beeps to notify the caller he is being recorded, it is all completely silent, so if using for legal matters you are required by law to notify the caller in advance that they are being recorded. For analog and digital phones, the phone line connector & wall jack is the same size/type; however, the way the TR600 is hooked is different. An IP phone line (ethernet/internet) cable and wall jack is a larger size. This important information to know when determining what type of phone you have.

To record calls automatically, the TR600 will need to be set the following ways:

Analog Phones: Operate the TR600 in "line mode" with the "auto" record setting activated.

Digital/IP Phones: Operate the TR600 in "handset" mode with the "voice activation" setting activated.

Question:	How does it work when it's for automaticaly record all phone line conversations ? Does it's plug in betwen the main line and the phone base itself
Answer:	The recorder is supplied with a phone line tap cable which is an in-line microphone of sorts. It has a modular RJ-11 phone jack with a splitter. The phone line plugs into one end, the recorder and phone into the other. It allows the recorders internal microphone to detect and audio activity (dial tone, conversation, etc.) on the line and automatically activates the recorder.

Answer:	Q, did you ever get your DAR-101 to work with your base station home phone system? I have the same setup and the machine does not record my outgoing calls.
Question:	This is a great product. But it has suddenly not recognized insertion of the sd card. I have tried three cards and the display is "NO SD CARD". Is the SD port damaged
Answer:	Sometimes if you use an SD card in devices such as this; they will work and then fail because they were not "formatted" for the specific device. Try accessing the material from your SD cards that you tried on your computer. If the material is there; then the card is still fine but its not fully formatted for the digital recorder. I had the same problem where I had files on an SD card for an Edirol R-09HR recorder and tried to use the same card in an Edirol R-09 (earlier version). The files would play flawlessly but recording after so many hours; the unit would freeze and the SD card wouldn't play the files after rebooting. You must "format" the SD card before using it to record. It will still be compatible for PC usage.
Question:	I am trying to record music from my tv,but when I plug the audio out from the tv to the line in on the recorder I am still picking up outside noise. It's like recording without the wires

Answer:	I don’t see any light bulbs to change. I think when it burns out it’s finished & you have Buy a new one. It runs on LED bulbs so it will run along time before it burns out.

Answer:	Yes, that's a good use for such a light panel, but this is probably a little bigger than you need unless you plan to capture multiple negatives in one shot. Such 'ganging" is best for reference: showing a whole roll of 35mm film, or four or six 4x5 negatives that form a natural group or share a subject. The resolution created by such a multiple-negative scan will NOT allow for an enlargement you'd be satisfied to display. An image of a 35mm roll (36 film exposures) needs an 8.5x11 panel minimum. Then if you want to use all the camera resolution for one negative, you'll bring the tripod a *lot* closer to capture the single neg. You need a dedicated macro lens. This is something I have done professionally. Watch some videos for more suggestions.

Question:	Mine won't turn off? I hold down the play/pause button until it shuts down. But as soon as I let off the button it turns back on
Answer:	I'm assuming you have the owner's/operator's manual available. If you are following the instructions correctly for turning off the device, and it doesn't operate as specified in the manual, that would suggest a malfunctioning unit. I've seen some situations where a contact will stay "closed" which would be the equivalent of holding down the power button which might only RESTART the device (would APPEAR to shut off but then start back up). But first check the manual to be sure you're doing the shut-down correctly.

P.S. question wasn't silly. - it made me think back: once had a BF whose snore had a life its own (so much so that it had its own name: "The Beast") BF, of course denied that he snored at all. Soooo one night I recorded The Beast. A couple of days later I dialed his phone and when he answered I didn't say hello, I just hit play and let him converse with The Beast. I thought it friggin HI-LAR-EE-US! Him? . . . . not so much. Your results may vary. :-)
