Answer:	Yes you can answer far from the base unit or the desk phone, HOWEVER Make sure the wires are connected properly and that the phone software is set correctly. Here is how I did it. Depending on the Polycom phone model you have you’ll either have settings or menu. (button with small Home Icon) On the Polycom phone model that has menu, you’ll click menu first, Step 1 Select then Click settings. Step 2 Select then Click Basic. Step 3 Select then Click Preferences Step 4 Select then Click Headset Step 5 Select then Click Hookswitch Mode Step 8 Once on this next screen, you’ll need to enable the EHS mode. If you have this Innotalk headset you’ll want this setting to be on: Jabra EHS mode. Once you select this mode, your phone will reboot and as long as your cables have been installed according to their diagrams, you’ll now have the feature to answer/end a call directly from the large rectangle button on your wireless headset. Answer:	Yes - refer to page 33 in the manual under 'silent mode'. Set the beginning and end time one minute apart (ex: begin 10:30pm - end 10:29pm.) This will turn the ringer off on the cordless unit. Do this on the cordless hand set you want to silence. It took me awhile to figure this out. Hope this helps.I use the hand set as a bedroom ex. If you want it to come back on during certain times set the on/off times accordingly. Mine stays off at all times.

Have they updated to include a headset jack on base and if so, what headsets can be used that have two ear coverings rathe than just the one with a band to your head on the other side.
