Answer:	If you mean the built in answering system, then yes, it can be turned off. I don't use it because I use separate voice mail (in the cloud) such as Verizon's voice mail, so I can retrieve it from anywhere. Another line is Vonage, and I use their system including transcribing VM to email. So you can set it up pretty much however you want, including using or not using the built in answering machine.
Question:	How to block a number? Anyone can help
Answer:	Not certain if my model is considered the 2020 model but it has an aux cord outlet. I've already hooked up my mic to it doing a bit of karaoke while the music played.

Answer:	There is no way to check the battery level. A red light blinks on the front when it needs charging. A full charge takes around 4 hours.

Answer:	I purchased a new set of these phones to replace a worn out 10 year old Panasonic set. I did notice the batteries needed to be fully charged 3 or 4 times before reaching max talk time. After a week or so on my desk ( and FULLY charging the batteries every other day) the phones now hold a charge quite well. These phones also provide an audible prompt when the battery level is low. I feel the batteries need to be 'conditioned' with repeated LOW BATTERY and FULLY CHARGED cycles before holding the longer charges. After a month or so of daily use I'm well satisfied with this set.

You must subscribe to Caller ID service from your local telephone service provider in order for the Caller ID information to show on your phone. Answer:	yes, you can take the sim card out and use it with wifi only, I used this phone after I took the sim card out to swap to a new phone and it works the same as a small tablet device with wifi. (it might work with sim card still in it but I know it definitely works with it not in it for use without cell service.

Answer:	My model is the CLP99387 which does not support what you are asking. But I notice that the ATCLP99587 has the following feature "Virtual multiline operation". So I would suggest that you download the .pdf manual and check to see if the ATCLP99587 has the feature you want.

Answer:	No. Mine has a single landline and two cell phone (via blue tooth) connections.
