I was just doing it last night with like 10/12 little pieces of paper per sleeve.The more border the better obviously, but I trim mine pretty close sometimes. If you cut too close they'll wear or peel with repeated use or handling of the item. Good luck!

Answer:	I think So, one (dl955) is 50' and the other (DL951) 100'. So just more length on the DL951.
Question:	how do I install the refill
Answer:	The second answer is a very good one-follow that. But it does take some practice-and be sure to us that "strange tool" that 3M put in the pocket on the side of the laminator-you wondered what that was, right? It helps you feed that film between the rollers to get that new film started.

Answer:	Hi. the package that it comes in doesn't mention anything about UV. But I've had them in a window display where the sun shines on it all day long for over two years and i have Not noticed any negative effects whatsoever they look and feel like they did when I first put them in the window display two years ago. So to answer your question I would say yes they are very Ultraviolet resistant . Hope this was helpful.

Answer:	Hi K; The transparent film with the adhesive is .003" (3 mil) thick. The transparent cover sheet is .006" (6 mil) thick. These measurements are for LS84G Scotch Laminating Sheets. I would suggest you be careful when adding something to be laminated, the adhesive is non-forgiving. You might make the adhesive and cover sheet larger than needed and cut to size after mating. Yes, it does use more plastic than needed but you won't have to do it over and also prevent loss of whatever you are trying to protect. I tried many samples prior to doing the final assembly which was quite helpful. Hope this helps.Charlie

Answer:	Yes you can cut them. There is one factory edge which holds the cut pieces together. You would want a portion of the factory edge if you did cut them. I prefer to simply order the various sizes I need. Cutting a 8.5 x 11" sheet into smaller pieces would likely waste some of the material as the factory edge is on the 8.5" side.

Answer:	You sure can....it works great! I am a preschool teacher and do this often to make games! Just be sure are careful they don't slide as you insert the pouch in the laminator....they will stay if you use a little finesse! I like the 5 ml ;)

Answer:	I have used construction paper and card stock without an issue....I would guess 2 photos would still seal.

Answer:	If it's fairly thin cardstock, I don't see why you couldn't try it, but I would be more worried about the laminating machine than the laminating pouch. I haven't tried cardstock in my laminating machine yet, but there is a release button in case something gets stuck along the way, so I hope that would help if it jams.
Question:	will this work on a 4x6 photo? There doesn;t seem to be enough room on the 6 inch side

Answer:	Cartridge has 11" width capacity...you might be able to get away with 11.5", but that would really be pushing it and you'd have to have fantastic accuracy in loading the paper. It's a 100 foot roll though, so a skinny banner could be laminated!

Answer:	very long. Nothing is permanent, but protected buy the plastic coating and if the document is keep out of light, perhaps a lifetime.

Answer:	You can just place the paper in between the sheet and press hard but if you want it to be really sturdy you need a machine that's really inexpensive and a good investment. A scotch brand one is only 18-22 dollars.
Question:	if my document is smaller than 5x7 can I cut around the document after its laminated? I wasn't sure if only certain areas actually seal
Answer:	As I understand it you can provided you leave some of the laminate like a frame area. I don't know what the minimum is but I would guess about a 1/4". Only the laminate seals where it comes into contact with itself.
Question:	What if you cut right at the edge of the laminated paper, leaving no frame around the project. Will it still be laminated or fall apart? Thank You
Answer:	It's all relative to the project , single sheet of paper it will stay together but the open edges will absorb liquids to any open paper. A folded project can separate on you without that bonded edge.
