Answer:	My jeweler says to only use soapy warm (not hot or cold) water to clean opals and that a mild dish soap is best. A soft cloth or soft brush are fine. So I wouldn’t use this on it due to the chemicals.

Answer:	Not exactly. It's held vertically like a penny whistle, but there's not a mouth piece that goes into your mouth. Instead, you're resting the flute just below your lip and blowing across the hole, more like a concert flute. And of course, the fingerings are different. It may help to look up some videos and tutorials on Xiao so you can see what I mean.

On the Clarke Tinwhistle Company website ( http://www.clarketinwhistle.com ) it does say the original whistles are still made of tin plate. The Clarke Celtic Tin Whistle and the Sweet Tone both have plastic fipples (mouth pieces) and the paint on the whistles cover any metal, so it's contained inside and out. Answer:	No, l doubt it....this whistle is ok for cute things but to play such a pretty song as that on it l know you would be dissappointed.....its sound is very tinny and not good in my opinion. I also am seeking a lower toned celtic whistle to play songs like the Shire Theme Song.....

Answer:	It has been a while since I ordered t one...and it was a dud,,hated it,,cant use it,,,it has splinters in the tubes,,,horrible
