User questions & answers

Question: How many microphones can I connect to the mixers. Will it be able to have
Answer: No cables where not included, I had to convert my 1/8" to 1/4 with an adapter, then I had to buy 1/4in male Y-cable but your needs could be different, all of the connections are 1/4inch if you look closely at the picture. As for usb mic, unless you are able to find a converter that will convert to 1/4inch you cant use it, or you will have to buy a new mic because when you get into using so many converters, in my experience, the sound isnt as good bad quality so I wouldn't recommend this. I hope this can helped you, if you have further questions/concerns, look up the brand/manufacturer they may have help/support
Question: does this come with a/c power
Answer: You could if you in put mic in 1 channel with balance all the way 1 direction, and then guitar in another channel with the balance all the way the other direction. You would then have 2 seperated mono recordings. Easily edited in recording software.
Question: Does it come with the cable to plug it in to the computer, and i have an usb mic what kinda jack should i buy for it
Answer: Here's what the manual states: The XENYX mixer line has built-in USB connectivity, allowing stereo signals to be sent to and from the mixer and a computer. The audio sent from the mixer to a computer is identical to the MAIN MIX. Audio being sent to the mixer from a computer can be routed to the main mix with the 2-TR/USB TO MAIN button. Connect the USB type B plug into the USB jack on the mixer, and the other end into a free USB port on your computer. There are no required drivers, but we recommend that PC users install the included ASIO driver. The driver can also be downloaded from behringer.com.I don't know what OS you are using, but you might want to make sure that your computer is set up for stereo input/output via your preferences. You could also check to see if you have the correct drivers installed from Behringer, and lastly, make sure you have the 2TR/USB to MAIN properly depress and you can also route it to a set of headphones via the SOURCE 2TR/USB. Also not sure if this is what you are hearing through headphones or mains (?). Are your main channels routed independently? So when you say USB Out, is that from a stereo source or from the PA?
Question: Does "2 Bus Mixer" mean that two inputs (eg guitar and vocal) can be separated in a recording software? Thanks
Answer: This is what I have it installed in:http://www.musiciansfriend.com/accessories/odyssey-cxp1110w-carpeted-pro-combo-case-w-wheels?skuId=site1sku804787000000000

User questions & answers

Question: want to hook up three microphones (two wired rode procaster black mics) and one rode podcaster usb mic (white mic) would mixer work? what need extra
Answer: Physical inputs can be routed to multiple channels. Routing is done after the pre-amp, so if you have it on 3 channel strips they all share the one pre-amp but all other channel settings are separate. I use this for my pastor, one channel for singing and the other speaking, allows me to have different EQ settings and compression.
Question: So we are hosting a talk radio show, looking to upgrade board, the usb out will capture all sound from 4 mics to a single recording
Answer: I bought a full X32 when it was first released in 2012. I bought an X32 rack in 2013. Other than the learning curve at the beginning when I first used it, its been smooth sailing. Both the desks have held up well in my rental inventory. I own a small sound rental/hire business and I have been using both units quite a lot at concerts, corporate events, weddings and festivals for the past 3 to 4 years. Nothing has broken on either of my units, but I generally work alone or with a well skilled partner so I baby my equipment YMMV.
Question: What cord do I need to hook this up to my Mac
Answer: X32 Consoles that are over about 12 months old (about July 2013) have an XUF card that has both a USB 2.0 and a Firewire 800 port. My console has that card, but I have since purchased two X32 Racks and their expansion card is the XUSB card and it only has a USB 2.0 port (something about Apple not supporting the Firewire chip set anymore). I have done a lot of recording with both the console and the racks and have not had any problems with either. The XUSB card will connect to your PC or Mac and do a full 32 IN and 32 OUT to your DAW such that the DAW can control the console with remote control. Basically you just need to make sure that the Head Amps for each track are sending a hot signal, but NOT CLIPPING. That will screw up a tracks recording faster than anything. You can use compressors in the DAW to recover from too weak a signal, but you can't do anything about a clipped signal. For DAW's, I have used Presonus Studio One, Tracktion64, Pro Tools, and Apple Logic Pro X. I usually capture the tracks from a live recording using Studio One, but always do my mix down and mastering with Apple Logic Pro X. I have recorded 32 tracks without any problem.
Question: does the usb work both ways? meaning can i hook up to my computer to play music through the mixboard from my virtual dj program
Answer: I am not familiar with the Xenyx 802 but any 1/4-inch INPUT receiving jack for a single channel on the mixer should allow you to send the signal to the phone to any other recording device connected on the output side of the mixing board. Just remember that the signal being sent to record will be mono,

XENYX 1204USB

Premium 12-Input 2/2-Bus Mixer with

XENYX Mic Preamps & Compressors,

British EQs and USB/Audio Interface

The compact XENYX 1204USB mixer allows you to effortlessly achieve premium-quality sound, thanks to its 4 onboard studio-grade XENYX Mic Preamps and ultra-musical “British” channel EQs. Add to this our easy-to use “one-knob” compressors, which provide total dynamic control for the ultimate in punch and clarity, while respecting all the power and emotion you pack into every note – and the 1204USB becomes an incredibly versatile mixer for your live performances. But the XENYX 1204USB isn’t just designed to handle your live gigs; it also provides the state-of-the-art tools you need to make stunning, professional-quality recordings. Along with the built-in USB/audio interface, the 1204USB comes with all the recording and editing software needed to turn your computer system into a complete, high-performance home recording studio.

Sonically Superior Mic Preamps

The XENYX 1204USB gets its name from our legendary, high headroom XENYX mic preamps, which have been praised by audio engineers all over the world. These state-of-the-art mic pres represent a major step in the evolution of audio technology – and they can easily hold their own, even when compared to the most expensive stand-alone mic preamps. XENYX preamps offer a staggering 130 dB of dynamic range, with a bandwidth that extends from below 10 Hz to well above 200 kHz. Armed with these outstanding mic preamps, the XENYX 1204USB provides such transparent, crystal-clear performance you just might think someone upgraded your mics while you weren’t looking.

One-Knob Compression

Ask professional sound engineers what their favorite piece of external processing gear is and the majority response will be virtually unanimous – dynamic compression. What is compression? We’re glad you asked. Compression essentially limits the dynamic range of a signal, lowering the level of loud sounds and turning up softer sounds, to achieve sonic balance. But applying compression is a delicate art that many novice, and even intermediate, sound techs find challenging. Our “one-knob” compression is available on all mono channels and is easy to operate, even for entry-level users. With this one knob, you can easily dial in the perfect amount of compression for instruments and vocals, creating powerful mixes with punch and clarity. This is indeed a rare feature for products in this class – but standard on the XENYX 1204USB mixer.

Sublimely Musical British EQ

The British consoles of the 1960s and ‘70s changed the sound of rock and roll – without them the British Invasion might not have happened. Those legendary mixing desks soon became the envy of engineers and producers all over the world. The channel EQ on our XENYX mixers is based on that very same circuitry, allowing you to imbue signals with incredible warmth and detailed musical character. Even when applied generously, these equalizers exhibit sweet forgiveness and superb audio quality.

Recording Bliss

There was a time when the recording process called for lots and lots of expensive gear, which meant the average musician had to buy time at a recording studio – and that time was pricey indeed. But modern technology has put personal recording well within the reach of virtually anyone with access to a computer. How do you get all that music flying around your brain into your computer? That’s where the XENYX 1204USB mixer comes in. Thanks to the included bidirectional stereo USB audio interface, you can connect directly to your PC or Mac computer via a single USB cable. Answer: Yes!
Question: Is this compatible with Garage Band
Answer: Yes, it is compatible a 100% with garageband
Question: it will work with os sierra on a mac air
Answer: Yes, I was able to use this to record a podcast on my Mac.
Question: How do I connect an RCA audio source (CD player) into this while maintaining the audio from my 3 mics? The 2-track mutes the mics
Answer: I haven't tried it, but I would think you would need to convert from your RCA to 1/4" banana plug type adapters such as the Hosa Cable GPR101 RCA To 1/4 Inch TS Adaptor - 2 Pack. (Search it on Amazon). You need to connect it as an audio source, the RCA plugs on these don't seem to do much but give you sound through the headphones coming back in so for example if you were using a metronome to keep time while laying down a bass groove, you wouldn't actually be passing that metronome click back through to your recording, just the headphones...

User questions & answers

Question: I didn't really understand the inputs on this mixer. So I have 3 electric guitars, and an electronic drum kit. Can all of these, with mic,be connected
Answer: This mixer does not have sufficient mono channels for your application. Channels 2-3 and 4-5 are stereo inputs (meaning they are contolled with the same fader). Some of the larger Xenyx mixers will get you the inputs you need.... something with at least 5 distinct faders to control each instrument's mix individually.Hope this helps. :-)
Question: Does this mixer support 48V Phantom Power
Answer: Most microphones do not require 48 volts of phantom power. Many condenser microphones only require somewhere between 4 and 12 volts. You should check your mic. It looks like this is a 15 volt feed.
Question: Can this mixer connect to a PC via a soundcard
Answer: Yes, to an analog soundcard. All you need is a 1/8" stereo to dual-RCA cord. Mixer has both input and output RCA capability, so you could feed the output of the mixer to the line/mic of the soundcard or feed the output of the soundcard (line out/speaker out) to the input of the mixer. There is also a headphone jack on the mixer so that could also be patched back to the soundcard's line in/mic. For me, I am usually running the PC speaker out to the mixer RCA input -- the volume is controlled by the Main, and then I can either use headphones from the mixer or run the 1/4" output into my guitar amp. Hope this helps.
Question: What does the 2 track input do
Answer: The 2 track input allows you to connect an external music source to the xenxyx mixer and then into an amplifier with speakers or headphones using the outputs located near the top. The external music source can be anything that has the red and white RCA outputs such as a cassette/CD player or VCR/disc player (the red and white input/output for the 2 track are called RCA connectors). This is so you can plug in your CD player and also a microphone and an instrument that has a 1/4" output such as a guitar or electric piano and have it all mixed together. Just below the 2 track input are a couple of buttons that allow you to choose whichever output you want, either headphones or amplified speakers (main out). The 2 track outputs on the mixer will allow you to send the vocals and/or instrument mix to a recording device that has the red and white RCA inputs. I hope this helps.

User questions & answers

Question: This mixer has reverb for each channel separately, or for all channels together
Answer: They get kind of blended. But they are controlled separately by how much you send thru the pool. Its hard to explain.
Question: Can i record 4 separate tracks with this board simultaneously
Answer: The built-in audio interface has two channels. You have more input channels, bit the will be consolidated to the two channels. You can route tracks to the bus and send out the bus separately, but this will require an additional audio interface. If you record a lot of separate tracks in your computer, I would suggest to go with an audio interface which has lots of inputs and do the mixing in the computer.
Question: does the rack ears come with the mixer
Answer: My come with the "rack ears" but I buy on another place years ago. But I tell you IS WHORTLY to have this BEHRINGER XENYX X1622USB, I have one for some many years and still working excellent. I use it on my Radio Program every day, I am a Radio Broadcaster Host.
Question: Can you ship this to phillipines

Question: If you set this up behind stage but operate from front of house, how do you get audio from front of house to backstage (like an iPod, or computer
Answer: I agree with Sean on this one. I usually plug in an MP3 player and just fade in the music. This may not be the best option for you if you are constantly needing to queue music. When I've had to do that, I've done it 2 different ways, both involve a stage snake: one way was I run an actual stage snake and have the Behringer with me as if it were a traditional mixer. The second way is to run a snake for only the 2 channel audio from the laptop next to me and send it up into the stage. Again, both involve a snake and sort of defeat the main purpose of this. However, you still gain remote access to the mixer which still allows you to roam around the room to adjust the audio. It's not a complete loss if you need constant access to a music source.

User questions & answers

Question: Has anybody in the last few months had a problem with the FX board? I had an older behringer that had problems with the capacitors
Answer: I haven't taken it apart to check, but it basically just splits the same signal into two outputs so I would expect its wired in parallel.
Question: how many tracks
Answer: This not for sending 1 thing to 2 outputs, this is to put 2 things in and send to 1 output. Like a mic and a guitar to 1 amp.
Question: Can you record multiple tracks to a computer simultaneously and edit those independant tracks later? Or does it just record 1 stereo audio
Answer: Yes
Question: Got mine this week - and have discovered that the only way you can hear music from your PC at the same time you're playing is with headphones
Answer: Yes, this will work with any 1/4" TS cable, which is cool because you can choose any color/ length/ right angle/ straight cord you want. It is a passive switch - just plug in and play (or switch channels). HTH

Along with their built-in USB/audio interfaces, the XENYX X1222USB comes with all the recording and editing software needed to turn your computer system into a complete, high- performance home recording studio.

Sonically Superior Mic Preamps

All XENYX mixers have one thing in common – great-sounding, high headroom XENYX mic preamps. These state-of-the-art mic pres represent a major step in the evolution of audio technology – and they can easily hold their own. XENYX preamps offer a staggering 130 dB of dynamic range, with a bandwidth that extends from below 10 Hz to well above 200 kHz. Armed with these outstanding mic preamps, XENYX mixers provide such transparent, crystal-clear performance you just might think someone upgraded your mics while you weren’t looking.

Studio-Quality Compressor - Stairway to Heaven

Our studio-grade compressor is based on classic and famous studio equipment from the 70’s. This totally transparent and musical compressor design allows your full dynamic range to shine through until your signal reaches the compression threshold, which is indicated by the highly visible status LED. The compressor increases sustain and gently smoothens out signal peaks, which is especially handy when you’re laying down the funk, à la slap and pop – or hammering home your most-aggressive metal lines. The resulting output level lets you unleash powerful and impact-laden bass lines, while still sitting right where you need to be in the mix!

Built-in Digital Multi-FX Processor

Equipped with our studio-grade 24-bit Multi-FX processor, the X1222USB gives you 16 mind- blowing digital effect presets such as delay, chorus and reverb. Time-based functions can be entered manually by pressing the Tap button in tempo with the music. Apply them to any channel, as well as to the monitors and main output. Of course, if you have treasured outboard gear you’ve grown attached to, the X1222USB lets you integrate them into the mix – bypassing the built-in FX processor.

FBQ - Totally Feedback-Free

For more than 20 years, Behringer has designed and manufactured some of the most successful FBQ Feedback Elimination processors. Now you can own and enjoy the benefits of this technology, as we have integrated our revolutionary FBQ Feedback Detection System into this product, so your sound system is completely feedback-free, allowing you to focus on your performance. Utilizing an ultra-fast feedback detection system, this ingenious circuitry helps you recognize and tame feedback frequencies immediately. When feedback is sensed in a specific frequency range, the LED on the associated EQ fader illuminates, showing you at a glance which fader to lower to overcome the feedback. That simple!

Special Features

The X1222USB comes equipped with channel Inserts for inputs 1 – 4 for use with outboard FX, a stereo 7-band graphic EQ, which can be assigned to the main or monitor buses and our proprietary FBQ Feedback Detection System. Other features include full-sized faders for Monitor and FX Sends, our XPQ 3D stereo surround effect (creates a broader, enhanced stereo image), and a handy Voice Canceller function for removing vocals from pre-recorded media for 'instant-karaoke' applications.

That’s where XENYX X1222USB comes in. Thanks to the built-in, bi-directional stereo USB audio interface, you can connect your X1222USB directly to your PC or Mac computer via a single USB cable. Now any signal source you connect to the mixer can be recorded directly to your hard drive. Which brings us to software...

User questions & answers

Question: Can this Power my Passive Speakers
Answer: 8 tracks (6 xlr + 2 1/4) And you can ad a device like iPod or laptop audio with a rca cable.
Question: For USB recording, can I have four people (each using their own mic) sent to my computer at the same time? Using it for a podcast
Answer: It’s only a stereo output with the USB cable.
Question: I am going to purchase three (Audio-Technica AT2020 USB Condenser USB Microphone) mics. Will these plug into this mixer? Sorry I'm brand new at this
Answer: As long as the mixer has oitputs - RCA or 1/4inch jacks you can connect to a Desktop or Laptop. You need only find a jumper cable with a stereo RCA plug at one end and a 3.5 mm jack at the other end. You plug the output from the mixer to the MIC and or Aux in on the PC if laptop maybe the same hole/jack as the hradphones. They are often 2 in 1 setups these days. I have my mixer hooked up this way and it allows me to then add whatever I like to the input on the mixer to record on my PC with outstanding results.
Question: Im interested in buying this. We have 6 mics, and need to record the audio from all of them to a laptop during meetings. Will this do what I need
Answer: I do not have a P16. I do run different brands of in ears off the Aux outputs of the X32 including the brand and version you mentioned. The presonous does not compare to the x32 in my opinion.

Our 'one-knob' compression is available on all mono channels and is easy to operate, even for entry-level users. With this one knob, you can easily dial in the perfect amount of compression for instruments and vocals, creating powerful mixes with punch and clarity. This is indeed a rare feature for products in this class – but standard on the Xenyx X1204USB mixer.

Each input has four aux sends with two sends switchable between pre/post fader, for a flexible mix of monitor and effects applications. The EURODESK's external signal processing racks can be largely eliminated, thanks to the two integrated effects processors and stereo 9-band graphic EQ. One-hundred 24-bit / 96kHz studio-quality effects presets can be called-up and assigned to one or both internal effects buses. Main or Monitor output EQ is set and fine-tuned with the intuitive FBQ Feedback Detection display. When external processing is required, the SX3242FX provides extensive insert patch-points for input channels and main outputs. The Master section offers a wealth of features such as multiple aux and stereo returns, switchable SIP / PFL monitoring, Talkback, metering and more. The mixer's internal auto-ranging power supply (100 240V), gold-plated XLR output connectors and rugged steel construction ensure that this console will travel anywhere to tackle any recording or mixing task with professional audio quality.

If you want classic analog handling but can't skimp on superior digital effects and studio-grade mic preamps, the SX3242FX is your new best friend. This mixer's 24 microphone inputs, 8 stereo inputs and 4 buses give you enough leeway to handle anything from a graduation speech to a 5-piece band to a whole church service with praise band and choir.

Classic Control, State-of-the-Art Sound

Each of the SX3242FX's 24 mic inputs connects to our world-famous, studio-grade XENYX mic preamps. They are legendary for their high headroom, warm natural timbre and utter lack of background noise. Plug in a large-diaphragm condenser mic and track a vocal to hear XENYX's rich detail and spaciousness. Plug in a dynamic mic and stick it inside a bass drum to appreciate the whopping headroom.

You May Experience Side-FX...

Whether you need to add a dab of reverb or delay to a live vocalist's mic or warp a hard day's studio session into psychedelic quicksand, the SX3242FX has you covered. Behringer gave this mixer two independent studiograde 24-bit stereo FX processors with 99 awesome presets to provide the perfect sonic garnish. "Sure they're great for live sound, but I have a lot of cool plug-ins for recording," we can hear some of you saying. Truth be told, you never have too many effects. And when you hear the quality of the SX3242FX's FX, you may want to give your overworked CPU a rest.

Naturally Behringer gave you a whole palette of creative effects like reverb, chorus, flanger, delay and pitch shifter tones, as well as mind-bending multi effects to take your sound out of this world. But you also get problem solving workhorses like compression and gating plus final effects such as Ultramizer, Ultrabass and Exciter that can put a PA or studio mix over the top. And because there are two processors, you can cue two separate effects, then apply one or both to channels 1 through 28--compression for the vocalist, reverb for the vocalist and snare drum, for example.

Two independent studio-grade 24-bit stereo FX processors with 99 awesome presets including reverb, chorus, flanger, delay, pitch shifter and various multi-effects.

High-precision nine-band stereo graphic EQ allows precise frequency correction of monitor or main mixes.

Routing options galore.

24 state-of-the-art XENYX Mic Preamps comparable to stand-alone boutique preamps.

What the Heck is "British EQ"?

A good thing to have on your side when you start reaching for those channel equalization knobs. At a live concert or in the studio.

Think of it as kinder, gentler, more musical EQ like the type found on classic British consoles from the 60's and 70's. Single malt scotch instead of Everclear. Home-baked cherry cobbler instead of an artificial cherry lollypop. British EQ's distinct configuration of wider curves/lower Q and harmonic phase characteristics allows you to add or subtract EQ more generously than you can with conventional EQ circuit designs. When you add low midrange, you get a firmer sound instead of a nasty bonk. When you back high frequencies off a bit, treble backs off just a hair instead of turning muffled.

All SX3242FX mono channels have low and high shelving plus a sweepable "midrange" you can move anywhere from 100Hz to 8kHz. Think of it as your roving English troubleshooter.

Make Feedback Vanish So Your Audience Doesn't

When it comes to suppressing feedback, the SX3242FX is like having a bloodhound trained to spot trouble frequencies a mile away.

The 9-band graphic EQ (which you can choose to apply to your main mix or monitor mix via the MAIN/AUX1 button) features the FBQ Feedback Detection system. It makes finding and adjusting critical frequencies a snap. Just push FBQ IN, then watch as LEDs on the individual EQ sliders light up, indicating which frequency bands are causing feedback. Simply adjust until the LED goes dim.

The Ins and Outs

Some manufacturers make what they call 32-input mixers that count stuff like CD/TAPE IN as an input. But the SX3242FX really gives you twenty-four honest mono channels plus eight stereo channels, making it easy to accommodate a variety of studio or live performance configurations. You can connect up to 24 microphones or other mono instruments and up to four stereo instruments (keyboards or tone modules, for example).

You can combine these input in four different sub-mixes (called buses). That allows you to blend multiple channels--say all the mics on a drum kit or all the backup singers' mics--to a single fader, which is easier to adjust for the overall mix that goes to the PA speakers. You can also use one or more of the sub-mix buses to create custom monitor mixes for picky members of your band ("More me! More me!").

A Zillion Ways to Change the Channel

At the top of each mono channel, you'll find both a balanced XLR input with a XENYX mic preamp and a 1/4" input. A phantom power switch located on the back near the main power switch accommodates condenser mics.

Next comes is an insert for connecting up individual signal processors or feeding a remote broadcast feed or multitrack recorder directly.

Trim control and level set LED let you adjust the channel's input level for maximum headroom and minimum noise--the huge range of this control can handle anything from a very timid vocalist to a close-miked guitar amp stack.

Each mono channel features a 3-band EQ with semi-parametric mids (giving you control of the Mid level and a sweepable frequency with a boost or cut of 15dB) and a Trim control for adjusting input gain via a Level Set LED.

A Low Cut button eliminates the frequencies where unwanted infrasonics such as mic handling, P-pops or wind noise occur.

FX1 and FX2 dials add a blend of up to two effects, and AUX1 and AUX2 dials help create your monitor mix. Press the PRE button to send a raw, EQ-free signal to the monitors.

Near every mono channel's fader you'll find a 1-2, 3-4 and MAIN button. By engaging the MAIN button, the signal is sent to the main mix. Or, if you engage the 1-2 button, the channel becomes part of a bus. Twist the PAN control all the way to the left to assign it to Sub 1, or all the way to the right for Sub 2. The same principle applies to the 3-4 button.

A Mute button with accompanying LED cuts the signal from the channel, and a Clip LED helps you dial in a distortion-free post-EQ signal. The Solo button on individual channels routes the subgroup signal to the solo bus or Pre-Fader Listen--depending on whether the signal has been included in a subgroup.

Instead of XLR inputs, stereo channels 25-32 have left and right balanced/unbalanced line level inputs. Channels 25-28 feature the same controls as the mono channels, but with a four-band EQ that gives you control of HIGH, HIGH MID, LOW MID and LOW. This is especially useful for EQ'ing the critical midrange frequency content found in keyboard signals. Stereo channels 29 through 32, designed for signals that do not require EQ, have a simplified interface consisting of a Level, AUX1 and AUX2 dial. Can you say laptop backing track feeds, drum machines, tone modules, DJ mixers or CD players?

Finally, all four sub-mix buses feature an independent fader (naturally), Solo switch with bright LED, and assign buttons for routing them to Left or Right stereo channels.

Take On The World

Not every town on the planet uses the same voltage common in yours. Unfortunately, this sometimes doesn't occur to jet-setting sound technicians until they're 5,000 miles from home. With the SX3242FX, this is never an issue. The internal autorange power supply can run on anything from 100 to 240 V with noise-free audio, top-quality transient response and low power consumption.

User questions & answers

Question: My USB out is only mono. The manual is very unfriendly. Help
Answer: It does come with mounts
Question: Do you know what kind of mixer rack case this will fit with the rack rails
Answer: You can use up to 4 separate monitor buses, but this mixer works best if you use Aux buses 1 and/or 2 as monitors because these are "pre-fader" outputs (which means you won't risk getting feedback from the monitor if you increase the channel fader volume). Use the 1/4" phono jacks labeled "Aux Send" and run these to your POWERED MONITORS ( or to the input of a power amp for your monitors). Adjust the volume of each channel in the monitor mix by adjusting the knob labeled "Aux 1" or "Aux 2". Adjust the overall monitor volume using "Aux Send 1, 2" gain knobs on the right side of the board. If you want to run the same mix to all of your monitors, just use Aux 1, and then daisy chain it from one powered speaker to the next (if your powered monitors have a signal out jack. Otherwise, you will need to split the output using "Y" connectors.I run 4 powered monitor speakers on 2 Aux Buses (Aux 1 and Aux 2). Aux 1 is for the front line of the band, so I wire from the Aux Send 1 jack to the Front Left monitor, then daisy-chain from that speaker to the front right speaker. Aux 2 is for the rhythm section, so I wire from the Aux Send 2 jack to the Rear Left monitor, then daisy-chain from that speaker to the rear left monitor.I use a different monitor mix for front/back of the band because we sometimes use backing tracks, and I want these louder for the rhythm section, so they can stay sync'ed with the track. You could use all 4 Aux Sends so that each monitor had a different mix but 1) That gets really complicated to sound check, and 2) Aux Send 3 is used for Effects, so using it as a monitor channel would mean you can't use the mixers effects. and 3) Aux Sends 3 and 4 are Post-Fader, which means they are affected by the channel fader, which means if you adjust the fader for the mains, say to bring up a vocalist, you are also bringing them up in Aux 3 and 4, which could mess up the on stage mix, and cause all kinds of havoc.Hope that helps.
Question: Does it come with rack mount brackets
Answer: of course, it has a couple of xlr outputs and a xlr subwoofer output, i have a Behringer B215D Eurolive Speaker Active 550-Watt 2-Way and it works great, this mixer it's very good for the price (but don't expect an pionner nexus 900)
Question: how do i run monitors to stage? need 4 monitors on stage, what are my options
Answer: It used to come with one 4 years back (when I bought it) but Traktor has upgraded to much advanced level at this point. You might need to check Behringer site to find details of the Traktor software they ship with this product now.

Sublimely Musical British EQ

The British consoles of the 1960s and ’70s changed the sound of rock and roll – without them the British Invasion might not have happened.

Built-in Digital Multi-FX Processor

Equipped with our studio-grade 24-bit Multi-FX processor, the X2442USB gives you 16 mind-blowing digital effect presets such as delay, chorus and reverb. Time-based functions can be entered manually by pressing the Tap button in tempo with the music. Apply them to any channel, as well as to the monitors and main output. Of course, if you have treasured outboard gear you’ve grown attached to, the X2442USB lets you integrate them into the mix – bypassing the built-in FX processor.
