Answer:	would not work for ps4 slim, not recognized. Until I rebooted the ps4 with the mic plugged in. evidently some kind of driver or config is adjusted, as it is now recognized and works.

Answer:	From what I've heard, the snowball does actually sound quite reasonably better. I suppose it'll have to be because of a number of reasons, 1 being that there's a $10-20 diffrence, and that this is marketed as a "Skype mic." I also believe that the blue snowball has wider diversity in colour. The blue snowball also features 3 different "modes" or polar patterns.First being a cardiod setting, a standard pickup pattern in most condenser mics, very handy. Mainly picks out sound in a heart shaped radius in front of the mic. Second setting is a cardiod, 10db pad. Good for loud sources, getting up close to the talent. The third and final setting is the omnidirectional setting. "Omni" meaning more than one, in this instance more than one direction. In this setting, the mic will pic up sound from all directions.doing so will loose some sound quality but maybe useful for recording a board meeting. Overall the blue snowball iCE is a great, compact usb microphone, for the tight budget market, or in other words a blue snowball, minus a few features and cheaper sound quality.

Question:	How is the AT2020PLUS different from the regular AT
Answer:	I have both. The AT2020 was great for general recording purposes, but for singing or voiceover I do LOVE the monitor jack and the slider. The slider will let you balance what comes into your monitor (your earbuds, headphones, whatever you plug in to the jack) so you can choose how much of the mic versus the PC comes into your ears. This gets important because if you rely on the PC to feed your voice back to you, there is a slight signal delay that can get awkward. You don't have to use the monitor, and it doesn't affect the act of recording. Hope that helps!

Answer:	The so-called gen2 is gen1 plus an extra cable. That’s my understanding. Everything else is identical.

Answer:	This product is designed to be used with a digital audio interface. The included cable is good for throwing directly in the trash can. Along with the junk donggle. The microphone is phantom 48v powered. When properly set up this mic is fantastic! I’ve bought mics for close to $200 and can’t tell you the difference in sound.
Question:	Can I plug into my mixer for power
Answer:	Most mixers have 48V on one pin of the XLR connector so plugging into an XLR input will work fine. It will not work if you plug it into a 1/4" jack.

Question:	How good is this mic for congas and percussion
Answer:	They work great for percussion instruments. If you are looking for a pair of microphones though, I’d look into the Lewitt LCT 040 matched pair at almost the same price.
Question:	can you use an xlr to usb cable
Answer:	The Audio-Technica 2021 is an active condenser mic. Being active, it requires 48 volts DC to make it work. The voltage is supplied to the microphone through the XLR microphone cable. Since the voltage is direct current (DC), it does not interfere with the sound that is transferred from the microphone to your USB equipped sound equipment. In my opinion, you will need a separate interface between the AT 2021 and the USB input. The USB input only supplies 5 volts DC, not enough for the microphone. The proper interface will both supply the proper voltage to the AT 2021, and transfer the sound from the microphone to your sound equipment.
Question:	would this be a good mic to use for a trumpet
Answer:	It's a very sensitive condenser mic, even for my acoustic guitar, so probably not the best for a trumpet. You'd have to be really far away from it so as not to blow up your sound. And then you'd probably loose all your tone in the process. If I were you, I'd research horn mics through Sweetwater or Muscians Friend, and then see who has the best price. Good luck.
Question:	How dose it sound singing solo
Answer:	Compared to a large diaphragm mic, these are harsher on vocals. It's designed for instruments, and detail and is not kind to solo vocalists.
