Answer:	Im putting them in a 24"x 6" schedule 80 heavy duty PVC pipe. The cylinder volume is .39 cu. Do I Port or not port? Can I port the tube and put one woofer in each end? or should i use two separate 24" tubes. Thank you.

Answer:	Yes! These actually have a good range well into the mid-bass area. I've used many of the 6" 8" and 10" versions in custom 2-way configurations and they sound awesome! I typically use two decent tweeters (NEVER piezo), two 2-way crossovers, and one of these in the middle using the dual voice coil to handle both the left and right lows. (Note that if used in this type of 3-speaker configuration, the DVC must be located between the tweeters to preserve the stereo soundstage.) I usually make my pieces (it's a hobby) as stand-alone Bluetooth units with 100-200 watt amps, and they get very loud and maintain great bass punch (enclosure must be rigid). Best of all, I've used about 30 of these over the last few years, and none of them have blown or gone bad.

Answer:	If "free air" means no box, then no, it won't work very well as a sub-woofer. If you mean a ported enclosure, then yes it will work well. A ported enclosure will give it a "boomey" kind of sound, which is fine for some types of music like hip- hop or metal. A sealed enclosure will make the bass sound tighter which is better for other types of music. The sealed enclosure will also require more power to drive the sub. Mine gets 100 watts continuous and I have used both types of enclosures. I'm skeptical about that 600 watt rating.

This rack-mountable, 5-channel power amplifier has power - 600 watts! Answer:	I have 8 speakers in the cafateria, three in the hallway on sencond floor and five in the classrooms on 2nd floor of a Sunday School building connected to the 70V and common. The power setting used was 2 Ohms on the speakers. I than added 3 speakers at a distance of 150 feet (Connecting the sanctuary of the church to Sunday School) in parallel with setting at 4 ohms. They all work good. Tested them on full load for about 30 minutes with output from my iphone (Youtube download)to the auxiliary input of the amp. Performance was good for a Church and a Sunday School building. Good product for the price. We plan to use them occasionally and did not want to spend extra money. If your requirements are critical, I will suggest to get an extra amplifier and let it sit as a backup..Good Luck.

Question:	I have a ev ekx 18”sub and a 15” speaker Just wondering if this will fit for thoses
Answer:	This subwoofer is sturdy enough to handle a 15" on it. It has a hole in the top for a speaker pole and it handles my mains mounted on top with no problem. It's a great set up if you get the speaker poles so that your mains are elevated. That said, this is a super light weight subwoofer in comparison to others. I literally went to Guitar Center and looked for the lightest, decent sounding subwoofer I could find. This one was not only the lightest, but it has a great punchy sound too! I liked it so much I bought a second one here on Amazon! I haven't had any issue with this unit shaking or moving in a weird way, with or without the speaker mounted on top of it. This is a good quality, pro product. The only "complaint" one might have is that is isn't as loud as some bigger subwoofers, but then again that's not what it's for. If you need a huge, powerful subwoofer to crush an EMD festival, this isn't the one for you. If you need a great sounding, light weight subwoofer to make the booties in the club shake, this is the perfect sub woofer for you! Hope that helps!

Answer:	You can buy a soft cover made the sub from Amazon. Hard cases are available, but need to be custom made.
Question:	Will the pcl35 fit into the etx 18sp sub receiver cup and thread? other poles are just a bit too fat
Answer:	Like anything else it depends on how far you want/need to push them. My normal adjustment is to set the sub and tops to between 50% and 60%, and push from the mixer gain at 40%-45%, with master at "0" db, and each channel at no more than "0" db. I know I have way more room to push these but I have never had the requirement so far; even out doors. I don't know if this will help, but it's my experience and haven't had any complaint's about my sound quality yet; except maybe to turn it down by someone with hearing aid(s). I have a set coupled with a set of ZXA1's. Many times I need only one sub for the two A1's. I'm actually considering an extra set of A1's to add to my existing set.

Answer:	This speaker, Electro-Voice ZXA1SUB, does not have XLR inputs. It has only 2 speakon NL4 inputs. You could use a 1/4 inch to speakon adapter or cable.
