Answer:	Either the advertising is wrong, or every answer to this question is. The weighting variants for keyboards is: synth action, semi-weighted, fully weighted, hammer action. Synth action is a spring and feels like a toy. Semi-weighted are springs but with weights to keep them from springing back up too quickly, but they also feel very unnatural. Fully weighted has a more natural feel, but each of the 88-keys has the same resistance and rebound. Hammer action has actual hammers and weights built into the keys, giving them the most natural feel, and if they are "graded" hammer action keyboards, the lower octaves are heavier than the higher octaves.

Answer:	The P45 weighs 11.5 pounds more than the P71. Since the reviews suggest that the keys are weighted the same and the sounds are the same, perhaps the difference is in the internal framing and chassis. So the P71 is easier to carry but is probably more fragile.

Answer:	None, but it has a USB port which will serve the same purpose when connecting to a computer

Answer:	Yes, it absolutely does work. I think the most important takeaway is that this is a reasonable enough price to figure out if you actually do want to learn and stick with it. The biggest value is the 30-day membership to the Simply Piano app. I was in the same boat as you and this keyboard + app had me reading music and playing with both hands in 2 days. I played the guitar over 20 years ago, but completely forgot how to read sheet music since then. I’m back to being able to read sheet music and looking to step up to a higher quality Yamaha keyboard. Answer:	Just got this 54-key RockJam and YES -- it does have a 3.5 mm headphone jack output -- same size as an iPhone or a laptop. AND it does silence the speakers when engaged. It also has full size keys and very compact --33" long -- just right for sitting on the couch and practicing.

Answer:	The screen at the top is not included... That just shows you can use a tablet with music learning apps... It does come with a gift card for a music app on an apple device... The interactive screen is on the keyboard and when you hit a note it shows what note you've hit on sheet music.... Or it can play a song for you showing the notes.
Question:	I got this today and it won't turn on when plugged in. What should I do? Do i need to have batteries and have it plugged in
Answer:	Well I bought it for my daughter and she did complain about the tone but as I listen I think it sounds good for the price it is more of a midi tone that that deep let's say "korg" sound but I'm saying it's a nice item for the fair price

Answer:	The is no instructions to access the demo sounds nor song list. According to previous models, the next song will play after the previous is completed.

Answer:	Hi Jazmine. It happened to me too. I returned it right away. The batteries are needed only, if you are using without a regular power source (wall outlet). It was damaged, but it looked new. Maybe, the carrier service did not treat the package carefully. I am not sure what was wrong with it. I had keyboards in the past and they just needed to be plugged in. Return it and go to a local music center and get one there. My return was a nightmare. It took months and the package was never received by them even when I had the tracking number. I also paid on my own for the shipping and I never got reimbursed for it. Check the return methods. There is a free one. You just need to print a label from the Amazon’s website (your account) and it will tell you where to bring and drop your package. Good luck!
