Answer:	Not sure about Gearwrench. I will say these are very high quality. The handles are smooth and polished and have a good feel in your hand. They also have a balanced feel. I own Mac, Snap-On and Craftsman - I would rate these on the Mac / Snap-On level.

Answer:	Not sure,but the kit includes 2 batteries; that should be good enough for the average diyer unless you're performing serious heavy duty maintenance or commercial use.

Answer:	It did not break the bolt loose for me. I had to hand loosen first. A small 10mm intake manifold bolt. The only thing that broke was the tool while removing the second bolt. The ball and spring that locks the socket on fell out. I returned it.

Answer:	NO they are not...Not on the on the Amazon or Tacklife websites state these are impact rated so i would say NO. But yet on the Tacklife product page shows this set of black sockets and a impact gun in the same picture. Answer:	They wouldn't because this set does not have any 1/2 inch drive sockets in it. They are 3/8 and 1/4 inch but I just use a 1/2 inch to 3/8 inch adapter when I use my 12 volt 1/2 inch drive impact gun. The largest 3/8 inch socket is 7/8 standard and 20mm metric. The smallest is a 6.5mm 1/4 inch drive and 4 standard, It covers just about anything that is under 7/8 or 20mm

Answer:	No, they are not plated or painted to the best of my knowledge. In Fact, I used one of these sockets on a 12 volt 1/2 inch drive impact gun to get a tire off of my car and it held strong. No Chipping or cracking.

How do I add a few drops of oil into the mechanism

Answer:

Only rarely would need lubing unless a pro using constantly or operated in really filthy conditions or around salt water. I think, as a non-pro, I've lubed a ratchet maybe 6 times in 55 years using them. But if you want to do so, easiest way on this model is to simply turn the square drive side to facing up, then, using WD40 or a good spray silicone EASE a little of it around the square drive and it will soak around the gap and into the mechanism. Oil? Some sewing machine oils might be thin enough, but why bother with it when the alternative is easier and better.

Question:	Can these be used for 5/15 G43 chains? Hauling a 3000 lb compact tractor
Answer:	I would say yes to 5/16" g4(3) rated, so ensure you select correct size. I used 3/8" to 1/2" for a 7k lb tractor 3/8" and 1/2" chains I had. D.O.T. requires 4 chains, 1 per corner. Ratcheting gear needs to be engaged fully so it won't toggle/ratchet loose do to road vibration.

Answer:	Yes, mine came with a charger, case adapter 3/8-1/4 and one battery
Question:	Which one is better the newer 2557 or this version
Answer:	On the exterior they look the same, but the newer 2557 unit has up to 55 ft-lb or torque, versus 35 in the 2457 unit. The 2557 unit also has a brushless DC motor. These 2 factors, and some inflation, are the reason why the 2557 is about 100-bucks more expensive. I've been perfectly happy with the 2457 unit. If you're using it every day, you might benefit from the newer motor design.
Question:	Does this have a locking mechanism to allow you to break loose tighter bolts
Answer:	Just a follow up. Yes it has an internal locking mechanism in the internals but no external one like a button. You can break loose bolts as well as apply additional torque but I would be careful because internals don't feel they can handle too much.
