Question:	How many strings are in a pack? I am ordering for a friend of mine for his birthday...He has a 12 string and a 6 string guitar
Answer:	This is a standard set of 6. Search for "12 string guitar stings" without the quote marks. I'd recommend D'Addario they're good sounding strings.
Question:	Are they ball end
Answer:	I'm not quite sure what you mean by "ball end". The ends the fit into the bridge and secured by bridge pins sort of look spherical. They are really just tiny metal cylinders with a groove in the center to secure the guitar string to to the cylinder. I'm probably not much of any help, but I like Markley strings. They're pretty tough.

Answer:	TO be honest, I am not sure. However, I found that with this particular pick-up, I needed a pre-amp of some kind. I use a Zoom A2 pedal as a pre-amp. My Amp is a Kustom Sienna 65. The guitar is a 1971 Harmony Sovereign dreadnaught. Going without the pedal straight into the amp felt weak.
Question:	Will this fit a 3.5" hole
Answer:	yes, i have one in a samick acoustic with the 3.5 inch hole, i also had it in a framus with a 4 inch hole, but am using it in the samick.

Answer:	The Lava Music website lists the fingerboard material as HPL-CG (high pressure laminate carbon-graphite). It looks and feels similar to the graphite fingerboard on my Carbon Fiber Rainsong Guitar. Another example would be like the Richlite fingerboard on some Martins only harder and smoother. Just like the guitar itself, the fingerboard can't warp or deform.
Question:	I am buying for a friend and know nothing about guitars. Is this a set of strings or just one
Answer:	The battery is fully charged for about 4 hours. It runs about 10 hours in FreeBoost mode, about 20 hours with plugging in an amp. The battery is replaceable and rechargeable. Since the battery life is about 6 years, please just contact us when the battery fails in the future.

Answer:	I was not impressed with its performance on either a ukulele or a mandolin, I imagine it would not work very well on a large instrument like a piano.
Question:	will this fit any standard amp
Answer:	Yes, but it sounds better through a pre-amp
Question:	Does it affect you using a strap with your guitar
Answer:	The way that this pickup configuration is supplied has nothing to do with using, or not using, a strap. The pickup plugs into the amplifier, or preamp if you're using one. The particular way that I installed it (permanently on the inside) requires that the wire be cut and soldered to a 1/4" female input jack. The jack that I used was developed by Larry Fishman, and it's called a Strap Jack for an obvious reason: You can attach your guitar strap to it, although you may have to enlarge the hole on the strap end to accommodate some straps. I sit when I perform so it makes no difference to me. The Dean Markley pickup reviewed here is also available in a permanent installation kit. I did not realize that it was still available when I bought mine, but if you're considering putting this pickup in permanently, it would make sense to, uh....pick up that pickup configuration from the start:-) If you want 'easy', just get the one with the putty as shown here, especially if you're not handy.
Question:	Does this pu have enough output for use with a harmonizer pedal such as the tch vl play acoustic to trigger harmonies or would a preamp be needed
Answer:	I just use it for a cello, so I don't know.

Answer:	I can't say for sure. I bought one for my Big Baby Taylor and it fits perfectly.
Question:	what are the dimensions of this product?s
Answer:	4.125"L x 1.5"W x 0.625"D with 0.5"D x 0.375"W foam-filled notches on each end. Snugly fits a standard sound hole.
Question:	will this pick up work in a clasical guitar
Answer:	The pickup is magnetic, so won't work with the nylon strings on a classical guitar.
