Answer: Mostly. I have noticed it may fall out of Kindles if they are older. Apparently this is a design issue as a lot of reviews make a comment on this. I have 4 Kindle Fires 8" HD 7th generation, 2 7" and one original Kindle. I only have a problem with one of the 8" Kindle. The 10 foot size makes it easier to use since you can permanently leave plugged into an to an outlet and use it as a charging station while in your favorite chair, couch or home office. This is a wonderful item for those who are looking for a new fast charging chord. I highly recommend this item!

Answer: This Aria model has its own chord for recharging. As for replacing this chord (lost? defective?) my best bet would be to contact the manufacturer.
Question: Does the lamp come with a bulb
Answer: There is no Kelvin notation, but it is 1300 lux and lights fine all the way to the bottom of my Manhasset stand. I know Kelvin designations and would say it is around 4000K. Certainly white bright light. Not the warmth of 2700K, but then that would not make reading the music as easy.. I personally think it is the best music stand light I have ever used.
Question: I have encountered a problem with power cord hum induced in a balanced xlr microphone placed nearby. anyone else? how to shield cord
Answer: I got this for a 1/2" thick wooden stand and found it didn't fit. However, the clips are made of aluminum, and after bending the flange at the tips from the 90° into a 60-45° angle, it works great. This also gave it a more perpendicular hold on metal stands. I used a Knipex 8603180 pliers wrench I had and didn't break the powder coat; needle-nose pliers with something around the jaws would probably have worked too.
Question: Will the clip open wide enough to clamp on to a wooden stand that is 1/2" thick
Answer: You should be able to substitute if Aria can’t sell you a replacement. The original cord has a USB plug on the transformer end. That is not important. The end that plugs into the lamp has O.D.. of 0.35 mm and I.D. of 0.15 mm. The Aria transformer outputs 5V DC 2000mA. As comparisons: cell phone charger is 5V DC 1A (1000 mA); tablet charger is 5.2V DC 2400mA. I’m not an electrical engineer, but my understanding is that the voltage should be the same as the original charger’s (a bit higher than the battery being charged); the amperage will be regulated by circuitry within the battery assembly (a little lower than the original’s, a little slower charge/a little higher amperage is OK because the charging circuit will draw only what it is programmed to draw).

Answer: It comes with one row of LEDs (I think it has a total of 18 LEDs).
Question: Does a carrying bag come with the R1? if not, will it fit in a B1 carry bag
Answer: The Aria Diva power supply is internally isolated from the 120V power. You shouldn't be experiencing hum. Hum indicates a ground loop. If you're certain (through elimination) that it is the music stand light introducing hum, test the outlet you are using with an outlet circuit tester to make sure that it is properly wired (rather than having neutral and hot reversed). Try grounding the metal music stand if you still have hum. You can also test the ground loop by holding the music light away from the stand and listening for the hum. Try placing your music light on a different power circuit.
Question: Has anyone used this with a wire stand? I have a nice wire stand - not a cheap one - but I'm wondering it it will support this. Thanks in advance
Answer: The clips open to 0.45", and the light can accommodate a stand with a thick lip slightly more than 0.5". However, we do not recommend using our lights directly on a wooden stand as the metal clips can dent or scratch the surface.

Question: Does this fit the brio
Answer: This light, the Aria Brio (R1), is rechargeable. The two rechargeable models (Aria Brio (R1) and Aria Forte (F1)) and the plug-in Aria Diva (D1) model have effectively the same brightness. Although their brightness may vary by a few percentage points as the LEDs vary in manufacturing tolerance, all three lights are rated 1300 lux at the bottom of the music stand.

Answer: The Aria Brio does not come with a carrying bag. However the single-handle soft carrying bag (model B1) does support the Aria Forte (F1), Aria Brio (R1), Aria Diva (D1), and Aria Solo (S1) models and includes a compartment for the Aria power supply and extension cable.

Answer: I am not sure that a wire stand will support the ARia light. I love the light but even the heavier wire stands don't seem as though they would be stable enough. I have not tried but have only used the aria light on a Manhasset style stand.
