Question:	Has anyone else noted that it warps the reed after repeated use
Answer:	I have used this ligature exclusively for about six months and not found any negative issues with the design at all. Of course I don't question your personal experience but I would be interested to know exactly what is happening. This design only places pressure on the reed along two ridges that run longitudinal down the center of the reed. The only possible "bending" caused by the ligature would be if you your mouthpiece has a VERY narrow table and you set the ligature really really low. Answer:	Absolutely! It will work with ALL sizes of Boehm mouthpieces, no problem.
Question:	Is this intended for metal mouthpieces, or can it be used with hard rubber
Answer:	I've used it with 2 vandoren hard rubber I believe clarinet mouthpieces. Vandoren B40 Lyre Traditional Profile and now Black Diamond (BD5). It does produce a noticeably better sound. It is a bit awkward to put on. But seems to work well. Clarinet teacher recommended it. I wanted my niece who play alto sax to try it. So dont know how it is for saxes.
Question:	Does this fit to vandoren jumbo java a
Answer:	I only have experience with clarinet mouthpieces. With clarinet it is at the end of where it will tighten so there is room for larger mouthpieces than that. I have seen colleagues use them on standard hard rubber alto mouthpieces but I never looked closely enough to see how much more room there is for even larger mouthpieces.

Answer:	No. There is one for soprano sax.
Question:	will this swab work to clean an alto saxophone neck piece
Answer:	I have a tenor sax that I use this swab to dry out the neck but, it takes about ten to sixteen times to get the swab through the neck. The problem is the curve in the tenor sax neck so, I do not think that this swab will go through the alto sax neck because that neck has an almost 90 degree bend to contend with. The weight is too long for the bend in alto sax neck.
