Answer:	35.25x17.25 to perfectly fit in any terrarium with a 36x18 bottom (40 gallon breeder, 30 gallon breeder, 50 gallon, and 65 gallon. It will NOT fit a 40 gallon long, or any other 48"+ tank). Look up "aquarium sizes" for dimensions.

Answer:	His toes will never get caught as long as the mat is in good condition. I vacuum mine and avoid the washing machine or any sort of scrubbing action. If it starts to smell (maybe once a year), simply replace it.

Answer:	Yes, you can use this at the bottom of a fish tank for plants. They have a similar product being marketed for fish for 3x the price. ;)

Answer:	I purchased two of these for my bearded dragon's home. It is easy to spot-clean, and it is double sided so every week I take it out and shake it off outside, then flip it to the cleaner side when I put it back in the tank. About once a month, I take it out and hose it down outside and hang it to dry. Meanwhile, I use the other clean one that has already been hosed and dried. I haven't had to purchase another liner for two months. I love these carpets because they fit my tank almost perfectly, are safe for my pet, and are easy to clean.

Answer:	Dried sphagnum moss is dead. Sometimes it turns green bc algae will live in the moss leaf spaces and make it look alive. sphagnum moss does not come back once it is dead. I grow sphagnum moss and growing sphag moss has a very different look than sphagnum filled w algae.

Question:	Is this coco coir? Is it okay for mushroom substrate
Answer:	my 8 liter bag covered a ten gallon aquarium about five times...which is to say, the bag probably would cover about a 50 gallon tank...but then again, that depends on your depth preference. I'd suggest buying two or three so you can get a better idea. It isn't going to hurt you any, since you'd then have a clear idea what you need to buy the next time! Also, be aware bugs will attempt to nest in this product during the heat, so I'd go with pine in the summer months if that would be an issue.

Answer:	First, I've never used ECO Earth. I use the Zoo Med Forest floor in two 10 gal. tanks for two small snakes that require a little humidity. The 24 qt. size will last me many months. It works for me. I think the 24 qt. would cover a 4'X2' tank once maybe twice depending on how deep you want it.

Answer:	I have been using nothing but forest floor for over 15 years. I love the natural look it gives, the corn snakes burrow when they want to, helps hold humidity with occasional misting as needed, and NEVER had an issue with rot

Answer:	Mites don't come from substrates, they come from the environment it's stored in. If you're worried about bugs, just freeze the bag for 3-5 days. When you're ready to use it, boil it, don't bake it. Baking degrades it to much. Let it sit for 30 minutes or so to cool a bit. Now it'll be nice and moist and ready to use. Hope this help is.

Answer:	Yes my bearded dragons do really well with it. You can also soak it in water and let it triple in size. It then helps hold moisture for you animals to have humidity. It's the most affordable way and easy to clean.

Answer:	Yes, if you either keep it dry or let it dry out completely (spread it out in thin layer) after getting wet. Leo's need about 40% humidity and this stuff can easily make humidity too high if its allowed to stay wet/damp. I use it for my leo.

Answer:	A lot - not sure exactly, around 8 quarts but this stuff was horrible. It's extremely fine and dusty. Unless you squeeze out all of the water properly, it makes the cage very damp and cold. I removed it within a day and tossed it.

Answer:	I don’t think so! Been using it for months it’s both our ball pythons and they are totally healthy with no signs of mites. There’s nothing on the package stating it has to be pre-treated.

Answer:	I believe so. I have an undertank heating pad and have this bedding. Only issue I ever had was a heat rock that went berzerk and overheated (didn't have a thermostat). Even in that case, the bedding didn't have a problems. The snake seems happy. I love that the bag says "#1 preferred snake bedding", like maybe they surveyed the snakes' opinions :)
