Answer:	That is a very broad question Initially try to plug into the mic input on your computer You may be able to use that if you have speakers on it Another way is to use aux input on a stereo system If you are playing live in a band or duo situation an acoustic guitar or keyboard amp would do Be aware that if you leave the cello plugged in and the switch in the on position it will drain the battery As the battery gets weak it may sound distorted or not at all

Answer:	You're correct, you can use you're right knee and the chest support to level it - watch you tube: piano guys "cello wars" ; good for the money and practice but the yamaha is a whole different class

Answer:	Yes. But the cello uses Aux cord and Amps usually use quarter inch cord. Music shops or amazon sells those cords. For tips, you might wanna get some guital pedals to experiment with the sound you want. It's like elec guitar. It by itself is pretty plain. Remember that it's pretty cheap and mine is broke now after using it for e years. You should tale a good care of it. Also. Don't trust that case or headphones at all. Cello's worth it for its price though

In small spaces (e.g., living room), people can hear you. For live performance, you need an amp. The better the amp, the more realistic it sounds. I use a Roland keyboard amp.

Question:	Sound from the strings is ok through the pickup when strings are plucked, but when using the bow, I could barely hear it. Why
Answer:	When I bought my Cello, it was not broken in the sense that the neck snapped like you see in some older posts. My problem is that once the bridge is set up, the cello no longer fits into the hard case. The company was great to work with when I made a complaint about this and some scratches in the wood. I had to send everything back and they sent me a new set. The new cello was in perfect condition but the second case had the same problem of my first one where the cello would not fit into the case after the bridge was set up. I gave up after that as I didn't want to go through the motion of sending things back and forth. Nice cello after the strings are changed. I have a full set of medium Helicores'.
Question:	Regarding the curved "knee rests" -- are they flexible? Do they detach (so you can use one side only
Answer:	I've been playing this model for about 4 years. The sound is very good, but it's better if you change the strings. I get a better sound using Jargar medium. The color is similar than published. The bow is good, it's a little havier, but compared with other bows that I've used is best than them. You should apply rosin properly. For me, the space between strings and fingerboard has exact length to play easily with less effort. Taking into account the price is an excellent cello. Recently a friend asked me to play it, she liked its sound and comment that used less effort to play.
Question:	What is the distance in millemeters between the end of the fingerboard and the "A" string
Answer:	My Cecillio Cello arrived with the sound post lying loose in the body. I had a music store technician grab it with a special pliers and correctly position it. Problem solved and still playing well, nearly a year later. Wish I played well too :-)

Answer:	Looks like each wing is attached by a pair of Phillips head screws inside metal clasp rings. It looks like, if the screws were removed, the wings would come off and impact no other part of the machine.

Answer:	This is Yamaha Japan's suffix for all of the Silent Electric Strings line. The 'S' indicates that it includes a soft case, the 'K' stands for "Kando". "Kando" is a Japanese word that does not have a precise equivalent in English. "Kando" is something that inspires the heart and spirit ... That which deeply satisfies ... Appreciation ... Admiration ... An emotional impression or sensational feeling that touches the soul ... Emotionally moving.
Question:	Is it really silent
Answer:	It is not 100% silent, but I would guess that when you are playing with headphones, compared to a normal cello, the volume is reduced by 90-95%. My son sometimes practices with the SVC-110SK in the mornings in his room, with the windows and doors closed and does not wake anybody in the house up.
Question:	Does it use regular cello strings? Or, does it use a special type of electric cello strings
Answer:	They are regular cello strings. The pickup is piezo-electric.

Answer:	The cello is (usually) powered by two AA batteries, so it should work internationally without any problems. However, if you wanted to use the (optional) AC adapter (Yamaha PA-130), you would need to get it from your local Yamaha dealer, so that the adapter would work with your wall power's voltage.

Answer:	It comes with a soft case. You'll need to check it in with a travel case or you can purchase a plan ticket for it. I've traveled with it in a standard cello hard case

Answer:	yes. you can play it silently with a headphone

Answer:	If you installed the headphone plug to the appropriately labeled jack and tried changing the volume and gain settings but still no sound, you might have a bad unit. Mine worked out of the box doing that.

Answer:	Looks like each wing is attached by a pair of Phillips head screws inside metal clasp rings. It looks like, if the screws were removed, the wings would come off and impact no other part of the machine.

Question:	Can the hard case be used for travel? is it resistant enough
Answer:	Yes, the cello does come strung, but you will have to place the bridge yourself. This is fairly simple to do, by lining up the bridge centered on the cello body and equidistant from the mid-point of the f-holes - making sure to keep the bridge perpendicular to the body as you add tension the strings.
Question:	I may be over thinking this but what do they mean by “hard and soft case” is that two cases or one case that has that good hard case w/fabric over it
Answer:	Not sure, but you must push them in firmly as you turn them to tighten the strings.

Answer:	Dear Regina S,For children who are eight years old and are about 135 cm tall, we recommend buying 1/2 size which will be more suitable.
