Answer:	Yes, flutes are in the key of C. What Amazon is talking about is the actual G key (the button on the flute you press to play a G). This particular flute has an off-set G-key as opposed to being in-line with the rest of the keys.

Answer:	No, it's not considered a "handmade" flute, even though there is a lot of hand workmanship in making it. This is considered a "factory made" flute. "Handmade" flutes are 10X as expensive. The term handmade typically refers more to the level of the flute than to the actual manufacturing process though. Its not like this flute is made by robots on an assembly line like a car is, but it is also not made as slowly as a professional flute costing $10,000, of course. That being said, a really good intermediate flute like this gets 90% of the performance quality of a professional flute. I could play one at Carnegie Hall and no one would notice, though I'd probably perform a tiny bit better with my professional flute.

Question:	What is the difference between a "B" and a "C" type trumpet
Answer:	I think you are asking about a Bb (flat) trumpet and a C trumpet. Those refer to the keys the instrument is made in. Almost all music is written for a Bb trumpet. The C trumpet is sometimes used in orchestra. Another use of the C trumpet is to avoid transposition. If you are buying a trumpet for a beginner, buy a Bb trumpet. And remember... buy a high quality instrument. A high quality instrument will sound better, will have very few mechanical problems and retains it's resale value.

Mouthpiece brush – After each use, wipe the outside of the mouthpiece with a soft cloth, then scrub the inside of your mouthpiece with the mouthpiece brush. You can use lukewarm water and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth.

Bore Snake – Use once a week to remove particles and moisture from the tubing of your trumpet. Drop one end of the snake through the bell and push as far as you can and pull out. Remove the “D” slide and push one end of the coil through the lead pipe. Remove remainder of slides and push the coil through to clean.

Valve Brush – Clean the valves and valve casing once a week. Push the valve brush through the valve casing and pull back up. You can also use the brush to clean the portholes of the valve pistons.

Valve Oil – Apply freely to each piston on a regular basis. Wipe off excess.

Polishing Cloth – After each use, rub on outside of your instrument to remove particles and fingerprints. Rub briskly to return finish to its fine luster.

Question:	What is the size of mouthpiece for this trumpet
Answer:	7c Which is a standard size for any student trumpet. I was used to using an 11c for an older strumpet that I bought ages ago. In that day the 11 c was standard. But, I do find the 7c has better range. The 11c seemed to be best for lower tones and not so easy for higher tones as I got better. I think the 7c is a better size.

Answer:	Very small. About the size of a piccolo trumpet. I used to have a Getzen Eterna 4 valve. It may even be smaller. It fits into a case that is about one third the size of my Benge trumpet case.

Answer:	Case dimensions are: 11 inches by 8 inches by 5 1/2 inches. This is a very well constructed case as well. Padded sides, rigid corners, anti- scuff studs on the bottom, sturdy zipper running almost all the way round, and a zip pocket on the outside.

Answer:	I would say no. The center of gravity is lower on the pocket and I keep this horn next to my stand just in case the a trumpet player does not show to a gig and it still gets knocked over a lot the only plus this stand has is it fits in the case well in the bell of the pocket.

Answer:	Not all standard trumpet mutes can be used with Mendini Bb Pocket Trumpet. The only mute that has worked for me is the "Bach Brass 1860" sold at Amazon.com for around $17.xx; the other standard mutes will not stay on the Pocket trumpet or the instrument does not sound muted!
