Answer:	Interesting question, and for sure, you aren't the first one to wonder about this. I got my BLACK TC poly tuner on sale at the big guitar store that's local to me, but all around - the one alluded to by DJ in the link he posted in answer to this very same question. I got it on sale for $38 and change. Could have gotten the white for the same price. That was about 2 years ago, and the prices have gone up and down. But other than the "sale" on or off, the prices haven't changed in those couple of years. Sometimes the sales are just a straight 15% off, so I would have paid a few dollars more if that was the case. Dumb luck got me another $4 off give or take. I realize this question was asked 3 years ago, but I'm pretty sure people today are asking the same thing - the black color doubles the price (almost)? I know my black car's paint cost extra, but it was for being metallic, not black. In fact, they have non-metallic in the make and model of my car in black for no extra cost. Answer:	nope, if you overdub 8 times over a 1 bar loop the overdubs will layer one-on-top-of-the-other over that 1 bar. You would have to record the base loop as an 8 bar, press stop, and then overdub over the 8 bar loop that you created.
Question:	What powers this looper, 9V battery, 110ac plug in? Is everything included to make it work out of the box

Answer:	No, it does not come with a power supply.
Question:	Can it be run off a 9volt battery
Answer:	No mini pedals take a battery. That's the trade off for the small size. They're not large enough to house a battery. But most people use a multi-power supply once they get more than a few of these mini pedals as 1. it's more economical over the long run, and 2. you never have to deal with a battery dying in the middle of a live setting and your signal suddenly dying out on you right in the middle of a song, or in the middle of your big solo. If you must have battery power, you'll have to get the full sized model, which will take up about 2x the space on your pedal board, and if you use all full size pedals in order to be able to power them with batteries, you'll only be able to fit about 1/2 the number of effects you could have access to if you used all mini-versions and a dedicated isolated multi-power supply instead. Some of the larger pedals use up considerably more room than even full size pedals, like 3 or 4 times the size, which is a LOT of space you give up to them, and even those won't run on batteries, so you need a dedicated power supply for them, as well, some of which are provided by the manufacturer, while others simply tell you you need something like an 18V 500mA power supply. Even a lot of the Mooer mini-pedals require more power than a battery can supply, and require a dedicated 9v 300mA power source, which many multi-outlet lower priced power supplies won't provide, having only 100mA provided to each power output port. So, generally speaking, no mini-pedal will accept a battery for it's power source. All mini-pedals require an external power supply, and these can be had rather inexpensively for ones that only supply 100mA to their output ports. Better models that provide up to 500mA to their output ports will cost a bit more, but will provide cleaner power, totally silencing your effects chain, and provide that power that some power-hungry effects pedals need. These better, totally isolated, clean power supplies can be found with up to 15 dedicated, isolated output ports supplying all the power you want up to that number of effects pedals, but for these better quality power supplies you will also be looking to spend somewhere between $150 - $200 rather than the $35 or so you would for a lower quality unit that only provides 100mA per port.

Answer:	I purchased my battery from Amazon back in Oct. 2013 - and have had no trouble with it. The hardest part actually was getting the battery compartment open. After I installed it and plugged the charger in, it started charging right away - and has been working fine ever since. I had to purchase it from Amazon because my cell phone company no longer stocked my battery. (I have a very simple cell phone - which suits me fine. I would suggest that you might have received a bad battery (it does happen sometimes) and ask Amazon for a replacement.

Answer:	With the right Toneprint settings this can sound just like any classic analog chorus. You won't have as many controls on the front as with the 5 knob MXR though.

Answer:	Any power adapter which supply 9V. I use this one "MXR M237 DC Brick Power Supply"

Question:	Would I able to simulate E flat and D standard tunings while keeping the guitar tuned to E
Answer:	Can you play the guitar a half step or whole step down without retuning? I don’t think so. This pedal provides a duo interval adjuster that can go up or down a full octave, or two octaves, and several intervals between up 12 and down 12. This pedal does track fast and you can really tweak the mix of effect and original tone... and it can handle full chords. I’m just not sure you’re gonna dig it setting it down a half step and eliminating the original signal and maxing our the effect. There’s a tiny wee bit of latency and digital artifact that occurs when the effect is engaged - not really harmful if adding a subtle harmonious pitch to lead lines or turning single note riffs into bass like runs, but for my ears too muddy and digital to run as a “detuner” - those keyboardist still have all the transposition ease of use skills. My advice is to have a designated instrument for each tuning. Not what you wanted to hear I know. This is a great pedal for adding beef and sizzle to lead lines and gets some unique chordal sounds and pass- and it’s tracking and artifact induction is the best out there pedal wise for electric string instruments currently.... just not a workable detuner in my opinion.

Question:	Does the upper octave by itself track as well as the bigger version
Answer:	It tracks surprisingly well on a 5-string. I don’t ever tune down... that’s why I use a 5-string! All Octave pedals will have some trouble with a low B string, in that it often sounds like mud in those frequencies, if you don’t take steps to make certain that the notes are clear. If it was me, I would make certain that you use a good quality 5-string (a multiscale might help a little...) with newer, brighter strings, good pickups and don’t complicate the sound too much before it gets to the pedal. No time-based effects going in, like delays and reverbs-that’ll confuse the hell out of most octave pedals. If you use double-stops and chords, be sure to try them when the pedal is on. Some octavers can’t effectively track those at all. Find the optimal position for your plucking hand (it will probably be in the “Jaco Position” near the bridge) so that it’s got more attack and then try and use an amp that can accurately reproduce those ultra-low frequencies. I currently use an 80’s Pearl OC-07 octaver, because I think it’s the best sounding octave pedal ever made and I’m a “frequent-fretless” guy. However, I do tend to swap them out periodically. I really like the tc electronic pedals in general and Sub n’ Up is absolutely worth trying and owning.
Question:	what kind of input connector for LG Cellphone connection
Answer:	It can take a USB 2.0 mini 5-pin (the other end is a typical USB end) or a round 9V DC plug (the other end has a transformer that plugs into the usual wall socket). In my case I use a Blucoil 9V 670mA, which is used to power low-current standard pedals and is noise and hum free. I got it on Amazon.

Answer:	No..The multi functions takes up to much power and would eat up batteries quick. It comes with the DC adapter.
