  5. Compatibility: It's essential to ensure that the Fender American Bass Preamp you choose is compatible with your specific bass guitar model and pickups. Different basses may require different preamps or modifications for a seamless fit.

  6. Signal Quality: These preamps are designed to maintain high signal quality and reduce noise, ensuring that your bass guitar's signal remains clean and clear as it passes through the preamp and into your amplifier or sound system.

  7. Sound Enhancement: Bass preamps can enhance the overall sound of a bass guitar by providing a more refined and polished tone. They are particularly useful for live performances and studio recordings where precise control over the instrument's sound is crucial.

User questions & answers

Question: Where is this bass made
Answer: It looks like you purchased the wrong scale strings.
Question: How much does it weight the one in natural color
Answer: I use them on a Guild B30 acoustic bass guitar. Acoustically, they're not as loud as bronze round-wound strings, but if you're not playing unplugged and volume isn't an issue and you're not a fan of the twang, these are a nice mellow alternative.
Question: Is this has a hardcase
Answer: The scale length is determined by the length of the string from saddle to nut. That is the measurement you need to determine the scale length you need. The most common scale for an electric bass is 34” from saddle to nut, which is called "long scale". "Extra long scale" is considered anything longer than 34”. There is also "medium scale", which is 30"-33”, and "short scale", which is 30” or less. The advantage of the ETB92 strings are, despite being called "long scale", they can comfortably handle a bass scale up to 36 1/4".
Question: Where is this bass made
Answer: April - I am sorry to hear about your trouble. I have had the first set of these tapewounds on my Precision Bass for about 8 months and I play most every day (not that well - but I try) but I have not had problems with loose strings. I am wondering if there is something wrong with your G-string tuning key or perhaps the gears the tuning key connects with. Even on 6-string guitars I have never heard of your guitar's problem. It might not be the answer you want to hear but I do not think it is possible to buy only 1 string - especially these tapewounds (they are not very common). The first thing I would do is check to see if your bass is a long scale or short scale guitar - maybe you got the wrong strings given your instrument (I got short-scale strings for my P-Bass - go to an internet browser and type in your bass make as well as scale (I would type "Precision Bass + scale length" for my guitar). Buy a new set of tapewound wounds (all 4) and take your bass into a shop to have a tech look at your guitar. Ask them to not only look at that G string key and gears but to look at the whole guitar as well as to replace the strings and do a setup. They will check the intonation for you as well. This will cost you, I know, but you want to get your bass sounding best it can which will make you want to play it more. Incidentally - when I have work done on my bass I stay away from large stores but go to smaller independent music shops. I have had much better luck with owner-occupied music shops when it comes to instrument repair than taking it to larger stores which focus more on volume. Good Luck April!

User questions & answers

Question: What kind of power supply does this use? Can I plug into the wall or does it take batteries? I'm not very familiar with amplifiers, thanks
Answer: Documentation does not say, not on the box either. Coverage area indicates it is 2.4. Works very well I wouldn't worry about it. Good luck.
Question: Would this be good for Karaoke (I have a Karaoke Mixer) or for connecting to a Projector to boost the sound
Answer: It depends on the dealer's policy.
Question: Does it come with a wire
Answer: Just received the DWS-3 system today on recommendations from numerous reviews and forums. Plugged it in using my Warwick Thumb 5-string and GK mb500. No discernible difference from using a standard cable. Handled the low B string just fine. I’m confident it will do fine at gig this weekend with GK+SWR Goliath III cab.
Question: Can this amp used for violin? Does it has speakers
Answer: As it is I found that mine did also , after research for a few minutes I found that it was my input jack on the guitar . Don’t know if this helps but I cleaned mine with a burst of compressed air and it helped but ultimately I changed the jack out for a new one and I now have crisp and clear sound .

Bartolini 57J1L/S 5 string J-bass pair

Based on 6 reviews Check latest price

Product description

The Bartolini 57J1 L/S is the Fender American Standard Jazz Bass (J-Bass) replacement pickup set with a 'long' (L1) pickup for the bridge and a 'short' (S1) pickup for the neck. The set is highly respected by musicians and luthiers alike for its deep tone, strong lows, low mids tone. These pickups feature a split coil design. The 57J1 is part of the "original series" bass pickups with passive designs. They are cast in epoxy to remove unwanted feedback and microphonics. Note: The lengths of the neck and bridge pickups in the original J-basses are not equal. The neck pickup is slightly shorter than the bridge pickup. Some modern designs, however, use two 'long' bridge-length pickups. In this configuration it is important to use the "LN" (long neck) pickup that is specifically designed to work in this position (do not use the L1 bridge pickup in the neck position). Some (very few) basses use two 'short' neck length pickups. Please check the physical size of the pickups you want to replace to make sure the replacements fit properly. If you need a set that has the LN pickup or two long L1 pickups, please contact us. Bartolini pickups are precision magnetic transducers designed and manufactured to bring out the fullest response from electric guitars and basses. Each pickup is hand assembled from selected materials and carefully tested for output level, square wave response, hum level and microphonics. All Bartolini pickups carry a one year warranty for defects in workmanship or materials. User questions & answers

Question: Is it worth the extra $300 to get the Rumble 500 head and the 410 and 115 cab, rather than the combo + the 115 extension
Answer: I have the 210 combo and 115 extension. The 115 comes with wheels and I put the 210 on a rock and roller cart. Extremely portable and very loud, it will get louder than your ears can stand. I would say the combo and 115 are plenty. Not worth getting the head and 410, just a waste of money and more weight to carry around.
Question: As a stand alone unit, are the 210's pushing 500 watts, or do you need to attach another cabinet at lower ohms to get your 500 watts
Answer: As a standalone unit the two 10 inch speakers are pushing 350 Watts at 8 ohms (Internal). You need to attach an external 8 ohm speaker cabinet to get 500 Watts. Attaching the external 8 ohm speaker cabinet brings the total impedance down to 4 ohms and that is when you get the maximum 500 Watts.
Question: I'm helping a friend pick out a bass & amp for her son. Would this amp be loud enough for a small entry-level garage band
Answer: I remember way back when I was in my first band. I had an ampeg B-15 and it was woefully underpowered. All I got out of it was a ton of distortion. It can be very frustrating for a new player to have to deal with poor sound. I’ve known guys who have given up playing because of the frustration of dealing with noise instead of music. I would use a 25w amp for practicing by myself but for a garage band I would go with a minimum of 100w.
Question: is this amp usable in new zealand
Answer: I turned mine upside down and it still worked so I suppose it will be OK down there. (On mine, input power is marked 100-120V @ 50-60 HZ, 70W.)

User questions & answers

Question: Can I use my acoustic I rig mic with this? With the headphone type plug
Answer: there is an AUX IN jack that takes a 3.5mm plug. Yes.
Question: Will this sound good if I’m Playin piano using my midi keyboard
Answer: Depends on how good your speakers are in your keyboard if your keyboard has stereo speakers they're probably going to sound better but as far as a little amp goes it's adequate
Question: what kind of cable do I need to connect to my Uke
Answer: Dear JOYO fan or user, it required a normal audio cable connect to Uke. thanks for your question.
Question: Can a microphone be plugged into this amplifier
Answer: Yes but you'll want to be aware that the amp takes a 1/4" plug, so you might need a converter. I also would be cautious if the mic requires phantom power. The amp doesnt provide it, so you'll need to get it elsewhere. If you have a mic preamp, then you could also plug the mic into that and the preamp into the aux jack, which would allow you to still be able to plug a guitar into the 1/4" jack. However be aware that the aux jack doesnt go through the volume/tone/gain, so you'll need to provide that elsewhere (which is why a preamp would be helpful)

User questions & answers

Question: Where is this pedal best placed in a chain
Answer: It did not sound good on my 15-year old, solid-state, Ibanez Wholeone 80w, 24" speaker, Jazz amp. But, that does not mean it is not any good. My amp solid-state amp does not like all pedals. And, I have also heard that pedals work best on tube amps, and you may have to turn up the volume loud to get the sound and tone you want. Don't give up yet, because, you can always try it, and if you do not like the tones, then send it back. Amazon is an excellent company to send items back with no hazels. Keep in mind that this pedal supposedly gets a big Fender "Tube Amp" sound from a little box. Will it really do that with your home amp? Only you can decide that with it connected to your equipment. Good luck! TG, from Orlando, Florida
Question: Is the output signal strong enough to drive headphones or will i need a preamp or the monitor output on my usb interface
Answer: This would technically "work", but not too loudly, and assuming your headphones are stereo, it would only produce sound in one ear unless you use a mono adapter on your headphone plug to make it mono in both ears. The headphones would also need to be lower Ohm to be even remotely usable -- like 32 Ohm. Out of curiosity, I actually just tried it with my 80 Ohm headphones, and got a little bit of sound out of the left side only. But the bottom line is that this isn't how the device is meant to be used (is more of a hack), and while you'd technically get sound out of it, the sound quality would be low with little headroom. The output is really meant for a mono instrument cable to some sort of power amp, like an actual guitar amp, PA system, or computer.
Question: Is this based on the model of the complete amphead+cabinet or just the head
Answer: Amp+cabinet
Question: does the user manual has the explaination of all the knobs
Answer: Yes, you can find in the attached user manual in the package. Thank you for the attention, we have many other interesting items, also welcome to visit.
