Answer: | If you want to gain muscle, I would suggest doing more of a weight lifting program like P90X. In the Insanity program, you do not use any weights, but will use your own body weight. you will likely increase your cardiovascular strength but the program does not use any weights, so you will not bulk up muscle at all. Answer: | Hi April, I think they are different. I have tried P90x and I didn't care for it. I had the bands to work with however were other equipment I didn't have that really made it hard to do the whole DVD. I wouldn't say one is better than the other I would just say which one is right for you. I really need to build up my cardio and that is what Insanity is doing for me. I also feel like insanity goes faster. I am already tired after the warm up but the DVD seems to go by faster. With P90X it seemed to drag but that could just be me. I haven't done P90x in almost 2 years. |

You do 2 or 3 moves in a set, and do each on once then twice all the way to 7 . There is 3 or 4 sets of different moves all done the same to 7 . I really liked it. |

Answer: | T 25 is hard but, it is do able. I sometimes felt I wasn't getting enough out of t25 only because it was 25 min. Max 30 is difficult all around but they have a modifier. Actually both have a modifier. T25 I would consider for beginners and max 30 is more for intermediate and advanced. It is up to you based on what type of work you want. I have tried both I like max 30 because I saw results faster and he made it fun. T25 i saw results but not as fast. If your new to working out t25 so you can build up to max 30. If you have been working out I would go for max 30. |

Answer: | No. You stop, get some water, catch your breath and come back to it. Even if u have to stop every 5 min, the point is eventually U will make it to 10 and then 15 and so on...hope this helps. |

Answer: | Insanity Max is t25 times 100. T25 is intense but no where near as intense as Insanity Max 30. The goal of t25 is to nail the entire workout where insanity max is to "max" out early on and then continue to workout. The goal at the end is to make it through the entire workout without maxing out. If you are a newcomer to Shaun T or to fitness, I would recommend T25 or regular insanity before venturing to insanity max. I did t25 after I gave birth and lost 26 lbs on it. Now I'm on to insanity max after finishing all levels of t25 and doing insanity. Good luck! |

Answer: | I just finished the first week and not much jumping at all. For the very few parts that do include a jump type movement there is a person doing the modified version. I did insanity and it killed my knees, this wasn't hard on them at all. It is actually very low impact. A little too low for me. I think I need something between this and insanity. Thus wasn't enough to feel like a good workout for me, but insanity was too much. |
