Answer:	Seat is 16" deep (from front edge of seat to back). 25" refers to side to side width of seat. Allow additional 6" or so for total width including wheels. It's a great lighter weight chair that is much easier to load and unload than a wheelchair. Raised handles with brake give caregiver a lot more control when pushing the chair. I highly recommend it.

Answer:	The seat is not padded . It need a little padding

Answer:	So glad you asked! There are two (2) rails that hold the "potty" but they are easily removed as we just discovered. The chair seat is 17 3/4 inch high at the bottom with the rails removed. It is a very good toilet chair, not a shower chair. It is rusting badly from being in the shower.

Answer:	We have used this as a shower chair for at least four years. It does eventually get rusty in places, but it's been very satisfactory. We will replace it with the same model. It's also been handy for showering our small dog. We put a towel on the seat so it's not slippery when wet, and it puts him at a comfortable height to shampoo and rinse with a hand-held shower head. Makes quick work of the "dreaded" shower time for him!

Question:	What is the distance in inches between the legs side to side,and if to wide for my tub can it be set to have 2 legs outsde and 2 inside
Answer:	The legs are slightly tapered. That makes the bench stronger and more stable. For the width, the legs are about 11 inches apart at the top and 16 inches at the bottom. For the length, the legs are about 27 inches apart at the top and 30 1/2 inches at the bottom. We have our bench height set to about 16 inches from the floor to the bottom of the rails. I estimate that the maximum clearance floor to bottom of rail could be about 19 inches. If set higher, then the length and width measurements at the bottom would be slightly greater. The height of each leg can be set separately, so that it can be level if the outside is on the floor and the inside is a little higher in the tub or shower. Very adaptable in other words. Ours is set with the length going from outside to inside the shower. One could also do a tub, if the height of the wall of the tub is not greater than about 18 inches. This transfer bench is a delight. I hope that helps.

Answer:	Gacky - this is the 3rd transfer shower seat I have purchased for my mom and we both love it. It's very stable and she feels safe and secure when using it.it does not teeter/wobble. The padding is excellent and she loves how she doesn't feel like she is going to slide off the seat. I would recommend this transfer seat and an on keeping it for myself one day.
Question:	how does it work for a tub
Answer:	Will this work with a combo jetted tub and shower combination. The tub is 36 inches wide, 19 inches high and 72 inches long. The narrowest width of the entrance side is 5 inches. Also, I'm wondering if the feet are suction cups. We bought a different transfer bench that had suction cups and when my husband sat down on the end of it, it tipped forward. Answer:	Probably no. The slide distance is less than 2 feet. So If you position the seat so you are outside and parallel to the tub, then you slide into the tub, half your body will be in the tub and half over the edge of the tub.
