Answer:	Yes especially if it is an alloy box but if the box is made of wood you might want to seal and prime it with the high temperature primer first and make sure that there are no cracks before you go over it with the rust oleum high temp paint, for best results!
Question:	Can I use this paint to spray the outside of a wood burning stove
Answer:	I bought 6 cabs and did my gas grill inside and out. After it cured, I ran it for 30 minutes without food. I have a "holder" to grill fish so I am using that for all cooking so I and not cooking directly on the painted area. If after a month it holds up, I will do test cooking on it directly for the stray cats.
Question:	Paint scratches off very easily 2 days later, even after curing at 200 and 400 degrees. Prepped with degreaser and 150 grit sandpaper. What could I have done wrong
Answer:	You did not do anything wrong. This particular paint is not durable at all, but it withstands very very high temps. If you need high heat AND durability, then you need to look into some of the high heat Cerakote and Duracoat products, which are much more involved in applying than this is. I just answered another question on here, and in that answer I mentioned watching YouTube vids of ppl using this paint. In this vids, you'll see they are very delicate w the painted objects after cured when re-installing the object in a car engine compartment, for example. The ONLY thing this paint is good at is withstanding very high heat and being applied relatively easily and cheaply. Ps. I guess I should mention that this product is sometimes sold as an "enamel" but this particular paint is not truly what you'd call an enamel. Enamel implies high durability, and this does not have high durability.
Question:	What temperatures are required to cure the paint multiple times at various temperatures in an oven? Will the final coating survive any contact with food
Answer:	24 hours AFTER painted - place in oven one hour @ 175 degrees. A second curing a few hours later is sometimes helpful.Any contact with food in either direction is bad. (part to food / food to part)Make sure wife is out of town.Cook 2 or 3 pizzas one after another to help disguise smell.

Answer:	This will only cover up the sculpture like paint. Will not fix the rust already there, but will protect it from rusting more.

Answer:	You must have a Holley carb. It’s easy enough to remove, but should not be used on carb gaskets. Base gasket would be ok.

Answer:	I have used this on multiple motorcycle total rebuilds both old and new. This should be a suitable crankcase sealant if you follow instructions carefully.

Answer:	Absolutely not. You should not use anything to seal a hole in your intake. Replace the part. Only option.
Question:	Does it seal rubber onto plastic of weed eater fuel tank
Answer:	It won't bond to the materials but it will hold for a little while, direct fuel exposure does degrade this material. I assume you are referring to the fuel line pass-through grommet? You would be best served by replacing the grommet, including fuel lines. If you cant replace the grommet for whatever reason, the only product i can think of that *might* work would be Hylomar. Make sure all the parts are as clean as possible and let it fully cure for 2 days before getting gasoline anywhere near it.

Answer:	Yes - putting it in the freezer halts the catalyzation. Warm it up before spraying. I've had cans stay liquid for weeks this way.

Answer:	No, clear coat or paint must have something to "bite" into, so it must be sanded and a direct to metal primer applied before the clear coat.

Answer:	Your cabinets are likely installed in a hight humidity environment (ie. Kitchen) Wood tends to shrink and expand, which requires a flexible top coat to prevent surface cracking. This is a very durable clear coat. It is resistant to gasoline and many other solvents. It is also very hard. I don’t think that it would do well on wood, but for automotive applications it is absolutely superb. I hope this helps.

Answer:	Think of this as commercial auto paint in a can. It is a two part chemical set. Look up on youtube what auto clear coats can do. I would say yes. As long it is not epoxy as the sun breaks it down to powder. This is not epoxy. Good luck. I used it as a top coat on aluminum over metallic spray paint that was not a two part and therefore soft and easy to scratch. The clear coat made it much stronger and was happy not to have to pull out the big spray equipment to get it done. You might need two cans if you are planning to build it up a bit. One can just might make it. You will have a lot of masking unless the rims are naked.

Question:	Will this work in combination with a fuel pump gasket
Answer:	I used it to seal a plastic spout to a mounting ring for a 5 gallon gas can. The spout came from another gas can and I cut it to size. Unfortunately it wouldn't seal, until I added a bead between the two components. I let it dry for about a week when it hardened. It's worked for at least 2 years without any leaks. Good stuff!
Question:	Will this seal the bolts in my triumph speed triples gas tank
Answer:	Used it on the threads for my pressure regulator fittings and my fuel pump fittings so far no leaks

Answer:	I would not recommend it, or any other liquid gasket material on any carb connections.
Question:	Can this be used to repair a hairline crack on a plastic stem for a quick connect fuel line
Answer:	Michael, I really don't know, but I doubt it. This is not a hardening substance like JB weld. It stays flexible so that parts can be taken back apart again if needed. I would think that just covering the crack in your quick connect line would not be effective. I have only used this product one time so I'm not the voice of experience. My application was to seal between a motorcycle fuel tank and the gasket of the petcock and around the hold down bolts. So far no leaks. However, mechanically for your issue, this does not seem like the proper application as it would not fortify the crack. For the cost of this tube you could source another quick connect.
