Question:	How many pounds of pull do these magnets have
Answer:	I did not do a pounds of pull test on these but they are very strong. (DO NOT GET YOUR FINGERS BETWEEN THEM) they are strong enough that if you put one on a steel plate you better be able to slide it off the end or you will have problems getting it off. I can not remove them by hand pulling straight up. Also they work great when put inside a plastic or UHMW sleeve or pocket. I did this after breaking one of them when I let them get to close on my work station and they went together and broke one of them.(very strong But very brittle) Have not had any more breakage problem since boring out a plastic sleeve and putting them in the cup. (epoxy them in)

Answer:	Ha! Very carefully! I used a thin piece of plastic to wedge between the two then slide them apart. You need to slide them apart as you'll never be able to pull them apart. Just be careful as they will snap back together with force or find the nearest piece of metal to attach to. Once you get them apart though they are great!

Answer:	One other thing to mention. If they do shatter, each piece re-polarizes and can also be a HIGH SPEED PROJECTILE due to the possibility of equal repulsion. So wear gloves and glasses.

Answer:	If it's truly N52, then the max pull force is 134.4 lbs (~60kg). That would be a magnet against another magnet, or a magnet against a thick steel beam. Question:	Are these really N52!?! Thanks
Answer:	My understanding is that it could take hundreds of years for rare earth magnets to demagnetize. I have not owned these magnets long enough to verify, though.
Question:	How are these magnets polarized? Through the thickness
Answer:	These seemed to be more on the 12 lb side even though the title suggests 33 lb and the details say 12 lb. Magnet-on-magnet was strong but alone it was pretty weak. I ended up returning these.
Question:	How do you prevent the magnet from the power dying
Answer:	Probably not. They have to be within a quarter inch or so of each other or some ferrous metal to hold very strongly. I use them to hold down some canvass material against a metal rail but I have to use one disc every foot or so.
Question:	listing says 33lb but details say 12 lb which is it
Answer:	they have a shiny metal outer covering which would be easy to clean. I manage a food store and would think that they would be safe. there in nothing in the packaging about being food grade. they are very fragile and have a dark material inside which is very crumbly and would be a problem if they were cracked or broken. dont let them hit together. They are very strong and easy to break.

Answer:	Probably. They come packed with spacers in between the bar magnets as can be seen in the picture. If you remove the spacers, you will have a hard time separating them from each other. They are incredibly strong.

Question:	I want to use magnets to hold boutenieres on lapels for a wedding. Will a dab of hot glue hold the magnet to the bout? 16 to do and not much Time
Answer:	Do not use a hot glue gun on neodymium magnets! While this adhesive works really well on so many surfaces, the high temperatures can demagnetize your magnets. Even the so-called low temperature hot melts are well above the Maximum Operating Temperatures of most neodymium magnets. Don't do it! In a majority of applications, we see, epoxy works best. It's generally good at bonding with both the nickel plating of our magnets and many other surfaces.
Question:	Can this be used to detect nails for drywall that is behind a brick wall
Answer:	These strong neodymium magnets are good to locate steel nails that hold the drywall. If you slowly slide a magnet along the surface of your drywall, it will be attracted to the steel nails/screws that come up very close to the surface of the wall. But cover the magnet with a piece of tape before sliding it all around your painted wall. Neodymium magnets are coated with metal which can make marks on the wall.
Question:	Woild these be good to add weight to the bottom cornor of a flag to prevent it from getting tangled
Answer:	These magnets have a very powerful magnetic field, but they are very thin and light weight. The weight of a single magnet is about 0.267oz.
Question:	Does stacking two or more of these increase the gauss rating? I'm looking for 12,000 to 15,000 gauss
Answer:	They seem to be slightly stronger when stacked, I believe there is too much diminishing returns to reach 12k-15k gauss with these.
