Answer:	Yes, its sturdy, but as for "too heavy"? When completely full it weighs about 24 lbs (8 lbs/gal x 2.5 gals). That's a lot of weigh to be carrying by a single handle, especially if its for more than only a short distance. Hope this helps.

Question:	Does this product work as described
Answer:	It works just as described-I love mine. Use to foot pedal to wring the mop as damp or dry as you want. Pull the mop head off and put in washer (I use bleach) and it comes out like new. I've had mine for at least 6 months, my mom (80 plus years old) got one as well and she loves hers--no more stooping over the mop bucket wringing out dirty water.
Question:	Just looking it the mop seems like it is only good for dusting and light dirt, can it scrub harder areas if needed
Answer:	I have 6 dogs including 4 mastiffs which are all over 209 lb and all live indoors! This mop is awesome! They trudge mud and dirt all over and I mop constantly and hard. It has held up great. I mop every day, several times a day and additional times for spills, puke and accidents. I also use it on my walls for mud smears from the dogs and mastiff slobber. I do have to replace the bucket part after a year as the ringer pedal has gotten wore out and is not working well anymore but for 30 bucks...no problem!

Answer:	Just like any damp or wet material or mop, it will only pick up things like hairs (and particles) when it's moved across the floor/counter/etc in one direction, then *stopped* and picked up. At that point the damp thing could be rinsed off and the hair would come with it (or picked off from things like sponge mops). If instead the damp item is just rubbed back and forth along the surface, some hair/particles will cling but some will be redeposited on the floor. Answer:	Measured to the brim, it is 14 quarts (the label also says 14). It is rectangular. The top inside measures 8 inches wide by 14 inches long not counting the pouring spouts it has at both ends. They stick out by about 1.5 inches. One of them is visible in the picture. The color is ivory white.

Answer:	All of those answers regarding the height - including the one from the manufacturer - is an INTERIOR dimension (which I realize would not be helpful to the very clear question you just asked - and I know because I relied on the responses for the same reasons you stated, and I found out the hard way). The measurement of height when taken from the OUTSIDE of the bucket, will be a little over 1/2 of an inch taller.

Answer:	For me, yes. It fits the Ettore window mop perfectly. I used to use a round bucket and dip each end of the mop into the bucket. It was more time consuming, especially when you have a lot of windows to wash like I do. I am very happy with this bucket. It is very thick and substantial. I know some people may choke at paying this kind of money for a bucket, but in the end I think it is worth it. Also, it fits nicely on the flip out ledge on my 8' aluminum ladder.

Answer:	The damn bucket is too small only 14.5 inches at the bottom. I am unhappy with the small sixe of this "supper bucket". I still have to use an old cooler with handle.

Answer:	Although the sponge part of the unit will fit inside the bucket, the squeegee part of the unit is actually wider than the sponge. The squeegee removes with the click of a button and reattaches, but the whole unit will not fit into the bucket. Big disappointment for something that was suppose to fit and make life easier. This overpriced bucket would barely be worth the money if it was a good fit. Definitely not worth the money.

Answer:	The tab does not help the seal to work better, it is for tamper evidence, as the lid cannot be removed unless the tab is pulled of. Be assured the lid is reusable. That said, it may be a little easier to install with the tab removed if tamper evidence is not an issue for you.

Answer:	Absolutely! You can either just pour the flour or sugar into it; or, place a liner inside and then add the food component. We personally use the liner and add packets to eliminate moisture.

Answer:	Yes. However, they should still be considered as an eventual consumable. The tear strip locking function is a one time feature. Here is some info.... Modern bucket lids are typically designed with a tamper proof feature to ensure that the lids do not come off accidentally. Your lid is equipped with a tear strip. In typical use, the lid is initially installed with a rubber mallet striking the rim every 4 or so inches around the perimeter. The lid is now locked onto the bucket. To remove the lid the first time it is necessary to pull on the tab on the lower edge of the lid. This tab is the leading end of the tear strip. When removed all of the way around the lid, each section of the rim will be released to flex allowing the lid to be removed from the bucket. The lid can then be removed and reinstalled repeatedly. At this point the lid may behave in the fashion with which you are familiar. Some folks may elect to remove the tear strip prior to initial use which will make the first installation easier. Others prefer the tamper evident function to ensure that the bucket is not opened prior to their intended use. These buckets are used for many purposes from food applications through to industrial applications. You can imagine the importance of a bucket of paint or honey having a secure lid in transit. The slots in the rim are the spaces that allow each section of the lid to flex. Without these slots the lid would we extremely difficult to remove. Even with the slots, the lids will require some amount of hand strength to operate. Some folks like to use a bucket wrench or lid lifter such as ASIN B006RXPV4Y. A study found that 85% of consumers own a 5 gallon bucket suggesting that most of us using industrial buckets will be familiar with the nature of the lid installation, removal, and re-installation. Answer:	If the bucket is food grade you can put the rice directly into the bucket if you plan on eating it with in a couple years, in my experience. If you want to store the rice, safely, for 50+ years then you probably want to put them in mylar bags with the air removed. That being said I have left rice in buckets for YEARS and it is still perfectly fine.
