| Answer: | No it does not have a zipper the mop head folds in half with a push of a button and then you can slip the mop head into the pockets on both sides of the mop. Then you just snap it shut. |

| Answer: | No, because I'm washing a "dirty" load of dog beds or dog towels at the same time. Put enough Chlorox or other bleach in with the detergent and you'll have a clean , fresh mop in no time! Nothing gross about it. If you are still squeamish about the washer not being clean after that load, just put it on the rinse cycle to flush out any dirty water that may be left or run another bleached load. Love these mops. I have two and extra heads for each for wet mopping, drying or dust mopping. |

| Answer: | Dust mop. You would never want to use a sopping wet mop on hardwood floors. The Libman Floor Mop is perfect because you can dampen the pad and wring out the excess before placing the cleaning pad on the base. |
