| Answer: | I had used this with some warm fluids and they responded well, the plastic didnt loose its clarity neither it got soft; that said, I would not recomend to use this for direct heating or exothermic reactions, mainly for safety concerns. If it helps to say it, remember that any plastic could resist a gentle warmup by water bath, so if your not planning to do heavy heating, you might as well try this beakers out and see.. |

If using a flame, use a clean burning fuel or you will get a nasty black residue on the bottom. Hope that helps. I'm just going to throw out a ballpark guess and say, 500 degrees F. |
