Answer:	It is small, so you will want to poor the ice into something then put in the freezer. It makes enough ice for about 10-8 ounce glass drinks. I have never put it into the freezer.
Question:	Does this have a perforated bottom stub
Answer:	I have had two of them, and both lasted a little over a year. My second one died last night. I bought it on June 25, 2017 on Amazon. Does't keep it frozen but I use a lot of ice as icemaker on my fridge went out a long time ago. It makes it good and fast enough, but wish it lasted a bit longer. I am going to buy another one, but am looking at reviews of the others and see what is out there. Performance wise is good and not too loud, and I would buy again if can't find a better option that I might think would last longer.

Answer:	no, only have to put in .8 gal. of water in the bin. it makes a lot of ice on just that much. the drain looking thing on the side is just that, a drain only. If you don't use it for a while it's easy to drain the water out of that
