Answer:	I used this to repair the hood on my John Deer Lawn Tractor. I believe the material is ABS. After using the 3M Scotch Weld to stich the 12 individual pcs back together I used body compound on the outer surface sanded and repainted the broken hood. That was in October of 2020. The hood is holding up well. Be aware that I used Scotch weld and Baking soda. See -You tube regarding this method. The baking soda creates an instant strong bond. Wear the proper gloves.

Answer:	Yes, This glue will be effective in gluing pads onto sunglasses frames. If they are metal, you'd be best off scuffing the metal with sandpaper to ensure adhesion; for plastic this won't be a problem.

Answer:	I wouldn't suggest it. Use PVC pipe glue. It comes in clear as well.

Answer:	I'm certain it will. My boots I bought this glue for were DrMartens. The fabric mesh style. And sadly it this glue wasn't useful with fabric. I used the glue for my other old England original DrMartens and it worked perfectly well. Also used this glue (out of curiosity) for other projects and it worked so well. So besides fabric....This boot glue fix worked on every other project.

HELPFUL TIPS:

*  Have a tri-folded paper towel handy to wipe off any excess glue.



*  For completely detached soles, preset sole to desired position and hold. Repeat above steps to the toe or heel first, then repeat for opposite end until entire sole is attached.



*  If there’s a white film on the surface of the material, or if the footwear has been washed or exposed to soapy substances, you will need to use more Boot-Fix and apply more pressure for a longer period of time to allow for the adhesive to soak through the film and bond to the intended materials.



*  For porous materials, use Boot-Fix as described in the directions.  If the bond does not hold after 1 minute, simply repeat the steps again with more glue now that the porous material has been filled with some glue. This repair might also require more pressure for a longer period of time for the adhesive to work as intended.



*  Latex or other types of gloves are not required to use Boot-Fix and may get glued to your footwear accidently. We recommend doing the repairs carefully with your bare hands. If you do accidently get Boot-Fix on your skin, apply cooking oil to bonded areas and gently rub to peel bond apart.

Question:	Will this work on a bicycle inner tube made of butyl
Answer:	Someone said that it might not hold up to the pressure of being used on an inner-tube. Actually, as long as you only inflate it while it's in the bicycle tire when you inflate it, the pressure helps push the patch tighter into the inner tube. My best guess is that it should work as patch glue, but use it only if you already have it...and nothing else. Otherwise you should just get a cheap tire repair kit that someone in the bike shop recommends for your tire.
Question:	What is the shelf-life for aquaseal
Answer:	Once the tube has been opened it will last anywhere from 2 months to 12 months depending on storage and the amount of moisture present. It is recommended to store in a low moisture area to increase shelf life.

Answer:	It may not be significantly visible, but it will not hide surface cracks of clear glass. Any residue can be cleanly removed on the surface with a razor blade. Whether or not it can be felt depends on the gap width. The number of cracks does not matter, but the type of crack does, and that was not described.

Answer:	It will not stick only sneakers that well unless the area is clean. Also you need to use it in two parts if you use it on shoes. One on each piece let mostly dry. Then tact it together. That's the two steps.

You have to wait until it’s tacky, but not dry. Once it has dried, it’s worthless. Even rubber cement works better than this junk. I wouldn’t use it again even if it was being given away for free.
Question:	Directions say, "do not close bond?" What does that mean
Answer:	It means that you don't apply the adhesive and then immediately push the two items to be bonded together. You need to allow the adhesive to become tacky before pushing the two items together, otherwise the final bond won't be strong.

Answer:	It is slower and less runny than Krazy glue. Fully sets in 60 seconds, you get a good grip much sooner but still have some wiggle room. I find it better for applications that need small adjustments.
Question:	how well does this product work on plastics
Answer:	My experience with it on plastic is great. I generally use it for rocks and intarsia work, but the key to getting it to properly hold is to completely clean the surface so no oils from you fingers or any other surface contamination is remaining. I use alcohol and qtips to clean the two surfaces and let it dry, then apply a small amount of glue and hold it in place. I love this product and think you will also.
Question:	Does this glue dry up after opening and using -even if I replace the cap quickly
Answer:	Agreed with NuMystic 100,000%. This glue is great, and i never have a problem with it drying up as long as the cap goes back on quickly. there is a small amount in the container, but a little goes a long way. 2 kids, lots of broken toys etc. this stuff does the trick. Also, i keep a tube at mom mom's house so i can fix any picture frames or ceramics the kids break. 5 stars for this stuff. PS, keep a bottle of nail polish remover and cotton balls handy in case you get some on your fingers. At first you and the kids will laugh when your fingers are stuck together but then when it starts to cure it shrinks a bit and pulls the skin. pretty painful..
