Answer:	It has to fit in a six-inch square space. You could make cookie cutters. There's some debate, however, about using PLA printed items with food. I would read up on that.

Answer:	No this can not laser engrave. I bought the Bibo 3d printer because it sounded like it was amazing. It sits on my shelf collecting dust. The FInder 3D printer I use all the time. I have one at home and one at school that my students just love too. The finder is all put together and ready to go with a few adjustments. The Bibo you will have to put together. I would not recommended the Bibo for beginners.

Question:	Does the glass plate need to be replaced after so many prints, should i buy build sheets? i did notice scratches on the plate on customers photos
Answer:	Technically no, this is 0.5 kg of resin and resin is mildly denser then water, so you get a little bit less then 0.5 liters. Plus resin shrinks when solidified so the end product will be less then 0.5 liter, but by a rather negligible Amount.
Question:	printer speed? mm/sec
Answer:	It would work on Moai but requires higher infill % in Cura setting and laser power of 52. As always, preheats resin/plate helps a lot. Check Peopoly wiki for printing guide on tough resins to learn how to print this resin as well.
Question:	Does this use propriety filaments or can i use other filaments? My 3d40 just died. I hate my davinci jr because i cant use 3rd party filaments
Answer:	It is hard to tell what level of resolution you are looking for. Some of our mini users print Blu straight and prime. Other prints a mix of Sculpt and Blu with extra resolution and dark grey color for higher resolute while still keep the print non-brittle thanks for the Blu part. A common mix is 70% sculpt 30% Blu.
Question:	Does it work with any filament of the correct material and dimensions, or does it only accept Dremel-brand filament
Answer:	A better question is, what are you looking to do because there is no perfect resin and you pick resin not just based on price but also on what they are designed for. Blu has good resolution, a bit of flexibility which makes it one of the toughest UV resins in the under $100 range. It prints very accurate and is ideal for mechanical parts, functional prints that need strength and accuracy. Sculpt is hi temperature resistant, high hardness resin for great resolution but it is more brittle than Blu. It is ideal for model makers who need a resin to show off their designs or making molds with it. It is also very easy to post process like sanding and cleaning and popular with digital sculptors (hence the name). As you can see, both resins are developed for different purposes. Yes, you could probably add flex100 to Blu already but if Blu is already strong, adding flex100 may weaken it.

Answer:	You can print by saving your glide print file on a usb thumb drive, and plugging it into the printer, if that is your question.

Answer:	I've attached it to a remote switch, so when my software sends a notification to my phone, I can turn the printer off remotely via IFTTT and the Belkin WeMo switch.
Question:	So, Im looking for a beginner printer to design models. Would anyone recommend
Answer:	This is an, "it depends," item. It's not a bad place to start as Chris P. indicates, but there's gotchas. And there'll be gotchas with his suggestion. Let me disclose the main gotchas so most can go make an eyes-open decision there. It has a self-leveling function, that had they chose better bed retention clips than the cheap push-pin rivet hold-downs that they went with, that would make it perfect for a beginner. There's 3D models online that let a novice actually quickly print proper magnetic retentions that will let you level it pretty consistently and robustly, so that's only a gotcha if you're not told ahead of time (You're now informed- look for them on Thingiverse under "monoprice mini delta" and you're looking for the "adjustable magnetic bed clips") It's hot-end will robustly do any of the common filiments (Nylon, Polycarbonate, etc. are high performance and not "common") such as PLA, PETG, and ABS, but the printer itself as it is stock is limited to PLA due to firmware limitations that prevent the bed getting any hotter than 60 deg C- and with the stock supply you won't get any better than 50 deg C which is only sort of good for PLA. Another community described modification is to use a 10 A power supply instead of the supplied 5 A one and then use the Open Source Marlin firmware as a custom backport for this printer. It should be noted that this operation will void your warranty. That being said, it will unlock the printer to it's fullest abilities, including cleanly working with a PC via the USB port, the ability to quickly heat the print head to 235 deg C and less, and to set bed temps up to 80 deg C, allowing you robust PLA printing and even PETG printing. So, if you're not expecting to tinker a bit with the printer, no, this isn't a printer for a beginner as it requires help to make it reach MOST of it's claimed potentials. If you don't mind a bit of additional work and don't care so much about warranties, it's a workhorse and a diamond in the rough.

Answer:	My son is 15 and he handpicked this one as a gift. He doesn’t know that I’ve purchased it, but he was very adamant that this was the best one. If the recipient is very technically inclined, I think it would be a great fit. I’ve read tons of reviews and watched several on YouTube. Once it’s properly assembled ( does seem to take some time), then operation is suitable for a beginner (again, must be very technically inclined). My son did request a different type of filament that I also purchased on Amazon, because the included roll isn’t that great. I don’t remember which one I purchased, but it was about 20.00. He also suggested getting or building a table to sit it on, as you should not sit it directly on the floor. He’s making one to put beside his desk, but I’m sure any small table would do. I’m very excited myself to see it in action, but I guess I’ll have to wait until Christmas.

Question:	What version is the board
Answer:	The newest version of the board is 1.1.5, it does not come with the printer though. Mine came with 1.1.4 which is very similar to the 1.1.3. Creality Sells the 1.1.5 separately right now as the Creality v1.1.5 Silent Main Board. It is $50 bucks and you might find it cheaper but it is a worthwhile upgrade. It has newer stepper drivers that make the stepper motors virtually silent. I can't hear them anymore only the fans now. The board also has thermal runaway enabled and has a boot loader preinstalled so if you wanted to switch to Vanilla Marlin or the TH3D software you could do so very easily. Installing this board and the TH3D software also made adding a BL Touch kit easy.

Question:	What is the physical footprint of this unit
Answer:	The actual base footprint itself requires a flat 12" x 12" surface, however certain parts such as the display panel overhang requiring a bit more space. A roughly 16" wide by about 20" deep space should be about right, although you will want to make sure both the back and front have an additional few inches to spare as the bed does move back and forth during operation. I mount mine on top of a 16" x 18" patio paver block for support and stability. I place the paver block over some dense foam that is cut about 1" in from the block edge (14" x 16"). This gives the printer a platform that helps contribute mass to absorb vibrations as well as offer a bid of noise reduction cause by sound transmission through the base. Placed a few inches from the back wall it also ensures the printer travel area remains clear. There is also YouTube video on using this technique if interested (not mine but I came across it after I came up with the same idea separately).

Answer:	It does come with a very old version of Cura. The lastest version of Cura is what I am using. Just download it from https://ultimaker.com/en/products/ultimaker-cura-software/list. If all you are doing is downloading models and printing this is all you need. If you want to make your own 3D models that complicates things. There are many, many 3d modeling programs and which one to use is a very personal choice and each takes time to learn to use. Blender is free, Sketch-up is also I think. But there are commercial programs that can cost up to a couple of thousand to use. Zbrush, Studio Max, and others. Answer:	You can take it off but it will leave the glue on and it is a long process to remove.

Answer:	The main differences between the X-Max and X-Plus are the build volumes (Max= 300x250x300mm vs Plus= 270x200x200mm) and the touch screen (Max=5" vs Plus= 4.3"). They both can print the same materials, including Carbon Fiber, Polycarbonate, PC/ABS, & Nylon using the Hi-Temp print head that has a hardened steel nozzle to prevent wear when using abrasive filaments. Answer:	The guy that sits next to me at work got the same Prusa kit. He feels like the QIDI X-Plus may out perform his. Also, my build capacity is a bit larger than his. He likes the PEI surface on the Prusa. My only mild complaint is having to exchange extruders for the over 250C range, but I think I get smoother prints with my low temp extruder that he does with the general purpose extruder on the Prusa. Also, he regrets not having an enclosure like mine has. We compare prints all day long, so after he spent an entire day and night building his & I was up and running in 10 minutes, I want to buy another one! I also got mine in 2 days & I have almost immediate answers from support 24/7, no matter how trivial. They are amazing! It took a couple of weeks to get the Prusa. He was so jealous!

Answer:	if you are using Marlin, you need to define the display correctly and include the display library. If you think you have that right in the firmware, try switching the cables. If you have them backwards, the display will take two to three seconds for the backlight to turn on but you will get a blank screen. Power down, switch them, and power back up.
