Answer:	I don't see why not. The Braava uses so little water, even on the dampest mode, I doubt it would do any harm.

Answer:	It has a lighthouse mode that you can use to create an invisible wall and is also supposed to detect if it goes onto carpet and then turn around, but I have caught mine going off-roading a few times and deciding to leave the kitchen to wander into my living room. I know it happens near the end of its cleaning session in the kitchen so I keep a closer watch at that point.

Answer:	No — this machine does not “clean” effectively — as other have said, it will simply end up pushing the urine all around this leaving your floor dirtier than it was before. The Roomba is a good machine but this is just garbage.

Answer:	Ignore these two users. If you use the app on your phone you can schedule the robot to perform specific tasks throughout the week, although you will need to make sure you install the correct pad for sweeping or for mopping, and then make sure the tank is filled before you attempt to mop. And it will automatically return to its own charging station, which it does in fact have.

Answer:	I am a Mint user and the rubber on my wheels came off and stretched, and I did not use vinegar. Just a lot of use over the years.You can order the rubber replacements here on amazon and they are better than the other ones, beefier! I am looking to replace one now and thinking of the iRobot Braava 380t Robot Mop. I did learn today from reading that using a wet cloth wrung out with hot water and mild dish soap mops better than the paper wet one.Love my mints, I have two of them and two robot carpet sweeper and love them all.

Answer:	We have steeply pitched cathedral ceilings, about 15' high at the maximum, and our Braava 380t has no problem navigating with the Northstar signal bounced off the ceilings. The bigger problem for us was finding a good spot for the Northstar cube that isn't under a ceiling fan, hanging light fixture, or pot shelf - but we did, and "Bessie" works great.

Answer:	I went on their website and saw their recommendations for the 600 series parts and they all fit well.
Question:	How many square feet dose it cover
Answer:	My apartment is 700 square feet and the Roomba does an excellent job covering it all in a timely manner. However it does not do room by room it will travel back and forth often.
Question:	How well does it pick up dog hair
Answer:	I live in the south so my lab and bulldog is always shedding. They are no match to Rosie (my roomba). This is my third roomba and the best for dog hair.

Question:	Besides emptying itself, what are the added features or actual benefits, of buying the Roomba i7+ over the Roomba
Answer:	I have both. The i7+ learns your floorplan and then the app lets you define areas or rooms - very nice if you have a lot of square footage. You can schedule the rooms to be cleaned at different times. You don't have to use the virtual wall devices that are required to keep the 980 contained. The i7+ is also much quieter than the 980.
Question:	How does it do with long dog hair
Answer:	Works very well, BUT you have to remove and check/clean the brushes more often because the long hairs wrap around the ends of the brushes making large, thick rings that are hidden from superficial examination. I didn't have any problems even before discovering this, but I'm wondering how much mechanical stress was on the machine.
Question:	What happens if my cat throws up and I’m not home when it runs? Does it avoid it or do I come home to a big mess
Answer:	You will have a huge mess on your hands! It happened to me with dog diarrhea. Amanda (robot) smeared it all over. I had to take her completely apart. Every screw that I could get to came out. I washed and dried every removable part. It took hours, but once reassembled she was good to go and I NEVER had her vacuum again when I was not home!
Question:	can the dumping base be purchased separately at a later time
Answer:	Yes. I bought an i7 with a default charging base. If you want to buy the i7 with the dumping base as one package, you'll save yourself $50 in the long run.

Question:	If I use it to vacuum my basement, can it vacuum up the occasional dead cricket or bug? Not sure of its size limitations
Answer:	Yes- it can pick up small bugs. It would not be able to get field mice- but teeny bugs would be no problem.
Question:	When a dog has an accident... is this smart enough to not SMEAR IT ALL OVER THE HOUSE
Answer:	This happened to me twice with a dog that hardly ever had any accidents. The first Roomba I had was probably a year old and smeared poop and ground it in under my dining room carpet. It went round and round in the mess and scrubbed it in so well, I was never able to get the stain completely out of my carpet. As for cleaning the Roomba I took it outside and as I held it up sideways I took the hose and squirted everything at a high velocity. I never thought it would ever work again, but I was going to have this poopy thing going over my carpets anyway. After seeing no sign or smell of poop, I put it on our heating/cooling register for a couple of weeks to dry out the electronics real well. It worked fine for awhile afterwards. The second Roomba I bought was a scheduler. I loved it and only had it a couple of months and this time the dog pooped on my tile in the kitchen and dragged all through the tile to my carpet where it parked itself. It was an easier clean up for me because it was tile and just a tiny bit of carpeting. Since I only had it a few months, I put my purple rubber gloves on and had a couple of buckets of cleaner (bleach and Lysol) and took it apart. I had an old toothbrush to get into the nook and crannies and lots of paper towels. Anyway that worked. I couldn't believe I could stand the work, but the Lysol smell was strong and it helped me through it.
Question:	What is different from 780? 880 really cleans better
Answer:	Last Christmas, we bought the 780-which works great. However, I have long blonde hair and it would tangle around the rollers. The 780 comes with a cleaning tool, so that you can easily cut it off...but it was kind of annoying. I ended up taking it to work and bought the new 880 for the house. We also have dogs at the house. The 880 is AWESOME. It's virtually maintenance free, with the exception of emptying out the collection tray. It also is a lot quieter than the 780. Overall, the rubber rollers seem to pick up a lot more dirt, dust, and dog hair than the 780 did...and I would compare the 780 to the effectiveness of our Dyson Ball vacuum (yes, I know, I have purchased a lot of vacuums... I am kind of OCD like that!) Overall, I would highly suggest the 880 over the 780 iRobot. It simply works better.
Question:	How many cats can ride at once? Does cat riding deplete the battery faster or diminish cleaning effectiveness
Answer:	Depending on use: Up to three felines will fit on a Roomba. Three kittens, or two small adults may fit upright comfortably for cat transportation, I call this Cat-Uber. The Roomba will run for about 30 minutes on a fully charged new battery. To truly put the cat to good use (and isn't that why we have cats?): One adult feline is recommended per Roomba for cleaning purposes. If you lay the cat in such a way, that its paws and tail touch the floor, and then put a little cleaning solution on them, the cat will actually become an extra cleaning surface, much like a Swiffer - and you can actually increase the Roomba's cleaning ability. I sometimes go as far as tying dusting gloves to my cat's extremities to maximize the dusting and cleaning effectiveness. But as another reviewer said, the cat will be knocked off if it goes under a bed. My solution is to tape the cat flat. ...However, do not forget to un-tape the cat once the Roomba is finished and docks at it's home base. Forgetting your cat is still taped to your Roomba with dusting mitts on its paws is just a waste of good cat. Throw your mini dusting mitts into the wash, give your cat a bath in the sink, and your floors are clean!
