1) How to get on the board?

A mistake that oftentimes is made even from more experienced suppers is trying to get on the board on their feet first. The more safe and balanced way to get out of the water and climb on the board is on your knees first. This is an important point for beginners. Once you have secured a knelt-down position in the middle of the board, you can now stand up and avoid unnecessary pressure on your joints as well as get the right standing posture from the very start. The way you stand up on your board is crucial to your effective performance in the water and your balance while paddling. Make sure you are in the middle of your board so that parts of it don’t get dragged into the water.

2) The right way to paddle:

A very common frustration for beginners is paddling. Maybe you found it takes some work to paddle and even despite work you weren’t moving your ISUP more than an inch or two when you first got into stand up paddling. Now, the thing you are most likely to have done wrong is holding your paddle the wrong way. Firstly, you need to make sure you are holding the blade angle forward. And secondly, you need to hold the holder of the paddle with one hand and the middle of the paddle with the other hand. To turn to the right or to the left you paddle respectively to the left or to the right with the blade angle pointing towards you.

Question:	Can you add a seat to make it into a kayak
Answer:	It is not a 2 way pump but I did two paddle boards in a row with the single stage pump that comes with this board and then with a dual stage pump from a twice as expensive board and the pump-up times were withing 1 minute of eachother, once you get up to about 8 PSI you typically switch a dual pump into single mode and then you are going no faster than a single from that point forward. So no real time savings with the dual pump from what we have seen.

Answer:	My wife is 120lbs and We have a small dog that rides on my wife’s board. It can handle well. We often take our lovely pet to play together for a few laps in the lake near our home on weekends. The dog also likes paddle board and is especially excited.

Assemble, Deflate and Packing

1. Put folded board on a flat surface and unfold.
2. Equip the large fin. Be sure that the valve core is in the “up and close” position
3. Connect the valve and pump,inflate until high pressure is reached

Deflate and Packing:

1. Take the board to a flat place and make sure it is clean and dry
2. Press and turn the valve core a 1/4 turn clockwise to release the air
3. Remove the large fin
4. Roll up the board from the nose and continue to push out the air while rolling

Question:	The Guage dose not work
Answer:	It probably does work. Just doesn’t start registering on the gauge until you reach about 7 psi. The board will look pretty inflated at 7 psi. This is common for a lot of inflatable SUP hand pumps. Just keep pumping until you get to 13-15 psi. Good board!
Question:	Can one person and a medium sized dog fit on this
Answer:	Yes, I think that would be fine since the board says it can accommodate up to 350 lbs. The boards are made of very thick, sturdy vinyl and the black fabric part on the back half of the board is not slippery at all, so your dog would probably like that rather than the white part up front which is very slippery.
Question:	Does this particular isup have drop stitch inside
Answer:	I believe so. After some research I found sources stating that there is drop stitching.
Question:	I need to buy replacement fins. While taking them off, they fell into the water and sank. Which fins do I buy that will fit
Answer:	Unfortunately, I don't think the fins that fit this particular board are available for sale anywhere. The connecting system and size/shape of the fins are unusual. I lost one of the smaller side fins awhile ago and contacted FunWater several times asking if I could purchase a replacement. They responded that they would send me one but never did.

Answer:	The valve is a two position valve. In one position it will deflate the board quickly. In the other position will slow you to remove the air pump while retaining the air in the board. At first I thought it let the air out as well but after looking at the valve - all you have to do is turn it to the second position. The valve will NOT leak when removing the air pump.

Question:	Does black one have a pad? It looks like the pad is bigger than say the blue board, but then it says it doesnt have a pad in the decription
Answer:	It has the rings along the sides to attach a kayak seat to convert it... also the paddle supposedly can convert to kayak paddle if you also buy a seperate paddle conversion kit or something. ... so shorter answer is, yes its convertible to kayak.
Question:	what is the paddle made of? Aluminum or carbon fiber
Answer:	well it's actually 11'6", so that's an extra foot. That extra foot would give you another 20% in weight handling capacity, so it becomes a doable two person board... with one of the people seated in front of the paddler... or two kids plus an adult. Also an extra foot will track better and glide better. The only reason a person wouldn't want the extra foot is if they plan to surf a lot... the 10'6" model will turn quicker.
Question:	If i attached it to the top of my car will it catch wind and blow off
Answer:	There is a clamp on one piece (I think the middle piece?) it’s ridged on both sides and may not be obvious at first. You have to use two fingers to push BACK equally and it pops out, allowing for the other paddle piece to slide in. You can then push the clamp back to secure. I couldn’t figure it out at first either, I had to YouTube it!
