Answer:	Hello – this is Alyssa, I work as a Customer Specialist for Atrix. The VACBP1 does not come with an extension cord. Atrix manufactures the Atrix backpack cord (pigtail) a certain length for two reasons: 1) users of this product range from professional cleaners to homeowners, and by manufacturing the cord as a pigtail it allows the operator to choose which size extension cord best suits their application; and 2) if the extension cord is damaged, it then offers the operator a quick fix - simply by replacing the extension cord, not the entire vacuum. Answer:	The cord on the unit is about 12 inches long. This way you can add any length of extension cord to meet your needs. I added a 50' cord and I can reach any in my house.

Answer:	I tried to pick up a quarter on carpet and on tile it would not pick it up that because it is to heavy or too flat , but I grew up using one of thee"s which was bigger this is a smaller version it is is great to use too clean the floors tile and carpet without getting the larger sweeper out I hope this answer works for you
Question:	Parents model from the 80s has a magnetic strip on it to pick up things. Do these newer models also have a magnetic strip
Answer:	Not that I know of. I purchased this as a helper between vacuums. Perhaps this works on office carpet but this won't even pick up lint.
Question:	what is the rubber rotor for
Answer:	Use the rubber roller for vinyl surfaces....kitchen, bath, etc., and the brush for hardwood & carpet. We bought 2 sweepers so we wouldn't have to change the heads. We use one or the other every day!

Question:	Does it pick up cat hair
Answer:	Cat hair generally isn't what I try to pick up with this sweeper, but we do have a cat and the sweeper does pick up at least some of the cat hair. There's always plenty of it in the dust bins when I empty the bins. This sweeper is certainly no substitute for a electric vacuum with a powered rotor brush, but nor should it be expected to be.

Answer:	Bought this carpet sweeper to pick up at church...disappointed because instead of going forward and then backward when you first start to use it, you have to go in front of the dirt and then back and then forward to pick up the dirt several times that way and sometimes that doesn't even work.
Question:	Does this fold for storage and to clean underneath furnature
Answer:	You can clean underneath furniture over 3" off the floor. The handle can be lowered to fold the sweeper, but not completely flat. Totally useless on hardwood, but does a good job on carpet and textured floors.
Question:	What is the trick to getting the very first pole attached to the base??? I returned one because it wasnt screwing in & the replacement isnt either
Answer:	I had the same problem. It's NOT you. If you can still return it, do so. Mine is the same and my spouse says it's the threads. They are not compatible with what you are trying to screw one. He used the handle from my old sweeper to fit on this Rubbermaid. That's ridiculous. I'm returning it and getting another Bissell. It's also very loud. Chases the animals away.

Question:	Does this product work as described
Answer:	It works just as described-I love mine. Use to foot pedal to wring the mop as damp or dry as you want. Pull the mop head off and put in washer (I use bleach) and it comes out like new. I've had mine for at least 6 months, my mom (80 plus years old) got one as well and she loves hers--no more stooping over the mop bucket wringing out dirty water.
Question:	Just looking it the mop seems like it is only good for dusting and light dirt, can it scrub harder areas if needed
Answer:	I have 6 dogs including 4 mastiffs which are all over 209 lb and all live indoors! This mop is awesome! They trudge mud and dirt all over and I mop constantly and hard. It has held up great. I mop every day, several times a day and additional times for spills, puke and accidents. I also use it on my walls for mud smears from the dogs and mastiff slobber. I do have to replace the bucket part after a year as the ringer pedal has gotten wore out and is not working well anymore but for 30 bucks...no problem!

Answer:	Just like any damp or wet material or mop, it will only pick up things like hairs (and particles) when it's moved across the floor/counter/etc in one direction, then *stopped* and picked up. At that point the damp thing could be rinsed off and the hair would come with it (or picked off from things like sponge mops). If instead the damp item is just rubbed back and forth along the surface, some hair/particles will cling but some will be redeposited on the floor. Remove the filter by grabbing the tabs and pulling up from the dirt cup Empty dirt into a waste container After heavy usage, remove any pet hair or dirt and debris from the filter and hand wash under warm water.
