Answer:	It does not look like the device power is PWM (pulse width modulated) because it is electronically controlled (unlike other resistive or infrared hot plates). However, that's not to say that the power output going in the coil is not duty cycled. That does not mean that eventually (probably after 1 or 2 hours) you will achieve boiling point but there will be heat losses from your container. The heat is generated by the metal that is in contact with the induction coil which is about 4 to 5 inches. The rest of the heat is transferred from that area to the rest of the container via conduction. So, make sure you have a very efficient container (enameled cast iron maybe). Answer:	I've owned both. The screen resolution on the Tab E is a bit higher at 1200x800 so it's a bit sharper than the 9.7 size Tab A. The Tab E is a completely different shape and aspect ratio. It is a long and thin wide-screen tablet while the Tab A has the more square form factor almost identical to the iPad. The Tab A is thinner. Processor, RAM, and caMera are identical.
