I don't know if more expensive Miele vacuums come with them--the $399.00 models. The instruction book list of parts indicates with an asterisk ( * ) that some features are not in all versions of the cannister vacuums.

Answer:	You don’t need to use the wall mounted piece. It’s just a plastic holder for the unit. The plug is separate and a standard charging device.

Answer:	We don't have that problem. You need to hold it down while vacuuming.. if you release the button it will stop. Sounds like a defect.
