Answer:	We have ours under our patio, and we live in Scottsdale, AZ, so we don't get a lot of rain here. We bought it mostly to keep the dust off of the TV. If we did have a blowing rain, I would imagine it would keep it dry. I wouldn't recommend one to put a TV totally exposed to the elements, even with the cover.

Answer:	I am sure the cover would be ok but it does not have any insulation. I don't think it would protect the TV properly in that harsh if weather. I would look for something else.
