Answer:	Hi Michelle! Unfortunately no compost bin filters are actually compostable, including Simply Carbon compost bin filters. This is because compost bin filters are infused with fibrous polymers to keep the activated charcoal together, otherwise you would be left with a filter that crumbles into a powder! Note that different manufacturers use different polymers and that a higher quality filter will have a higher activated carbon to polymer ratio. Simply Carbon filters contain a much higher carbon content for maximum odor absorption, which is also why you should not rinse these filters as it washes away the carbon and may even stain your sink. Answer:	The white filter stays in place. This goes over it and replaces the one it comes with that is also black, but this one is thicker than the black one that comes with it.

Answer:	NO. You cannot wash any activated carbon product. Once the carbon adsorbs the pollutants, they can't be "washed off." You can only wash off dust but this is a totally different filter. You are not filtering only dust. If you want to only filter dust, you should get a non-carbon dust filter. THAT you can wash and reuse.

Question:	I replaced the charcoal filter in the top of my compost bin, but I am still getting black mold in my bin after adding vegetables/fruit scraps. Why
Answer:	The Banana Boat Sunscreen dried me out,i have very dry skin, it wasn't good for me,when I used it I felt very dried out,and its white so you have to really rub it in,or it will leave a white film on your skin.if you have normal to oily skin it might work for you,especially if your skin is oily,and I didn't notice a strong smell,and if you don't mind having to rub the sunscreen in until the white color goes away then you might like it.the sunscreen did do its job,I get sun poison if I don't use sunscreen, and I didn't break out when I used it.but I hated the thick white lotion,and the dried feeling I got when I used it,so I won't be using it again, I need something that doesn't dry me out.i bought a Target brand Sunscreen and it was pretty greasy which I hated to,I felt to greasy,but it lasted all day.im still looking for a sunscreen that doesn't dry me out and is not to greasy,or has a while film. I hope this helped.one more thing,if it did have a smell it went away after I applied it,I dont remember it smelling all day,not like other sunscreens like the target one.
