My hanger arrived with one of the rubber tips missing which the packer could see since the rack was just in a plastic bag and not in a box.

Question:	Does anybody know how much weight this can hold? It looks perfect to hold a heavy duty backpack, but can it hold one that weighs about 30 lbs
Answer:	Eyeballing it, I suspect that the frame would hold a 30 lb backpack without issue. However, I suspect that the screws are not up to the task, at least not long term. I would suggest at least using wood screws and screwing into a stud on one side. Ideally, mount it onto a horizontal 1x4, and screw the 1x4 into 2 studs. Note - I haven't tried it with this item, just an ironing board.
Question:	When you open the door that the iron is hanging on, does the iron tend to hit/bang the door or does the holder keep it pretty set in place
Answer:	It truly took 3 years of looking before I finally found an iron and ironing board holder that does the job it is intended to do. I have an somewhat larger iron than most since I quilt, but no problem...I just put it nose-down into the holder. It is held securely and I also love this hooks over the door.
Question:	As I would like to mount this on the studs in a basement wall, can you please tell me how far apart to metal arms are
Answer:	The screws are 9-1/8" apart. You'll probably have to mount a piece of wood between or on the studs first and then attach this to that piece. Do NOT use the screws included. They are so soft, even if you pre-drill, the heads get mangled; maybe if you do screw them in by hand after pre-drilling but why bother. Like other people said, the rubber tips come off; if you want them to stay on, bend the tips out a bit and that'll take care of the problem.
Question:	Can it hold a Rowenta DW8080 iron
Answer:	No. My wife got a Rowenta DW8080 last week and bought this hanger, primarily to store the ironing board on the back of the laundry room door. The body of this Rowenta iron is too deep to fit into the iron slot. It's a sturdy hanger, which makes it really hard to bend the iron holder section. We were afraid we'd break it if we tried to bend it too hard.

Answer:	Don't think so - at least, we don't. The wires are covered with some sort of soft plastic, which I believe would melt, if not burn outright. We cool the iron then put it in the rack. Bit of a hassle, but I wouldn't want to put a hot iron that close to a drywall wall even if the rack could take it.
Question:	Are the hooks which go over the door metal or plastic? The plastic ones I had in my last home are too thick to allow the door to close
Answer:	They are metal and decently thin. Tried hanging it on the door first but liked it on the wall more. Didn't have an issue with it rubbing when I tried it though.

Answer:	There's no special attachments to wrap an iron's electric cord. There are 2 wire "containers" you can see in the photo that holds cans of spray or whatever you want. I have put the wrapped cord in one of them. My wife uses the same method the other reviewer "Taunya" described.
Question:	Can you JUST wall mount this organizer without hanging it over a door
Answer:	Yes. The flat "hooks" that go over the top of the door are totally separate from the wire unit. They snap onto the wire holder, so if you can attach it directly to a wall then just keep them off. I don't know if I can attach a photo with a closeup showing the screw holes that are part of the wire frame, but if I can I will. If I cannot, I measured the width of the screw holes and they are slightly over 4 1/8" wide. There are two sets of screws you will need put into the wall, one pair above the other. If you can get one set of screws into a stud that would be best. I don't put too much trust in the small plastic screw mounts that usually come along with items like this.

Answer:	The screw holes are about 5” apart. This product is exactly what I needed to get the ironing board hung and out of the way. It holds the board perfectly.

Answer:	You probably could if you used toggle bolts since most interior doors are hollow, but I wouldn't. There is nothing holding the bottom of the board. When you open and close the door, your ironing board will bounce and bang against the door. They do make over the door holders, so no holes requirred, but the board still makes noise when moving the door. This is a great minimalist holder for the wall.

Answer:	The length is 6 inches. It is very sturdy and holds a lot more that expected. I have 2, and love them.

Answer:	Don't use it often (like more than 5 uses in a day) and don't use it for a long time. It can only be used once in a while or else it will start spitting out water. I almost burned myself so I had to ask for a replacement. Use it carefully in an upright position (once in a while) only when needed (like for travel). Travel (occasional use), not for everyday use. I guess, "you get what you paid for."
