If you are intending to use this tank in a new installation, without an existing separate hot water faucet , then the installation will be more difficult since you will have to purchase the faucet somewhere and make connections to the house water supply. For such an installation you should by a kit that has a tank that looks like the Anaheim and the faucet as well. Then there will be instructions on how to install it.

Answer:	Yes, I saw the erroneous garbage disposal response too. The AH-1300 has only a one-year warranty, although you can buy an extended warranty if you wish. Our original unit operated fine for about five years before giving out. We've had the replacement, current one for a year now, and it's still functioning as advertised. A new, replacement unit isn't all that expensive, but if you have to have a plumber install it, that'll drive the cost up significantly. The plumber will probably be more than the heater.

Answer:	This one does not. I haven't found a reliable one yet that lets you use your own tap water and whatever filter. My old Elkay used 2 Brita filters, but it is about 8 years old and not what it used to be. If you happen to find one, please let us know!

Answer:	It depends if there is something both left and right of your sink base (such as another cabinet or dishwasher). The sides of the sink base will need to be cut to allow room for the rim of the sink and possibly room for the installer's hand to get in there to tighten the clips if they use that method. We frequently do it but the actual installer should be the one to decide based on your application. It's a little more work but it's worth it especially if the trade off is a much smaller sink. The hot faucet is hot enough to cook one's tea or coffee or any other steaming hot beverage at approximately 185° F. Removable drip tray

Removable drip tray: Beneath the dispensing nozzle is a large, removable drip tray, used to collect any water that sprinkles. Because it is removable, you can easily take it out to clean. Please note that the drip tray is not dishwasher safe and should be cleaned with a mixture of soap and water.

UV indicator

The built-in UV lights purify the water, preventing harmful substances from accumulating in the water, water tank and water pipeline. It automatically runs for twenty (20) minutes every two hours. It works silently, so you won’t even know it is happening. But when the cleaning starts, the UV light will illuminate to let you know this is happening.

Note: In order to prevent scaling and prolong product life, the product needs to be cleaned manually every 4-6 months.
