We used this on a driving trip from Syracuse to the Badlands, Yellowstone, Utah, Grand Canyon, and back and it kept stuff cold, though it's only able to get a certain number of degrees below ambient temperature. The AC converter was very convenient since we just wheeled the cooler into the hotel room and plugged it in so we didn't have to move stuff to a fridge or even worry whether the room had a fridge in the first place. |

| Answer: | Austin does not understand what this is... yes uou can power via usb, but not from a computer such as your 1.0,1.1,2.0 500mA or 3.0 900mA. It must be a dedicated usb charging port@ 5V 1500mA or higher. I use one at 4.35V(cellphone charger), it pulls about 1850mA. I use it to cool an aluminium cellphone dock that holds some legacy devices which are always plugged in and running a distributed computing app that keeps the cpu's at 100% 24/7. I never see temps over 30c(measured at the battery). But you MUST cool the hot side or it will burn out fast. You must without question use a heatsink of some kind, and a fan on that sink is preferred unless it is a very efficient passive sink. |

Simply press your cup against the paddle to let the flow of water to come out. The machines highly efficient compressor makes the cold water crisp and ice cold at approximately 47° F without the need of adding ice cubes to your drink. The hot faucet is hot enough to cook one's tea or coffee or any other steaming hot beverage at approximately 180° F. Due to the extremely hot water, we’ve added a child safety lock on the hot water faucet. This water cooler is suitable for both 3 and 5 gallon bottles. The water dispensing area measures 9.5x2.5x10 inches with a height of 7 inches below the spouts to accommodate most large cups and bottles. At the bottom of the dispensing are there is a large removable drip tray to catch and spills. The water cooler is UL listed and complies with all standards of Energy Star. The unit dimensions are 12x12x19 inches.
