I don't recommend these as they are not working properly for me after having them for a year and don't seem to be supported properly by Google as they are sending updates that work with their newer Nest Wifi. Best to use ero 6.

Answer:	This Speaker is made for different applications and so it has a transformer on the back. The Transformer has several wires of different colors called "Taps". For a home Stereo or Surround Receiver you want to use the two wires marked "C or Com" and "8Ω" from the Transformer. Connect these wires to the "+" and "-" output of your device. Be sure that the Surround Speakers are turned on in the Setup Menu of your device and you are listening to a program with Surround Sound Encoding.

Answer:	OS X 10.10 Yosemite (and as much as I can remember OS X 10.9 Mavericks too) has issues with RTL8153 based USB-to-GbE adapters. When you plug in such an adapter into your Mac, Yosemite (and Mavericks) recognises it and the device can be used automatically. It takes a few seconds for the device to show up in System Preferences, and you can also verify it in System Information under the USB SuperSpeed tree. However, the device stops working if your Mac goes to sleep or gets restarted. Also, if the adapter is plugged in BEFORE you start your Mac, the adapter will not be functional. Each time that happens, you need to unplug the USB connector of the device from your Mac, wait 3 seconds, then plug it back in. This will re-activate the adapter. Frankly, it can be very annoying.Fortunately, the manufacturer of the base chip, Realtek, made an OS X driver available for RTL8153 based devices, and it solves most of these disconnection problems. However, because the device appears to work without installing a driver, most OS X users never get to the point of searching for and installing the manufacturer driver. Not to mention that many times, USB-to-Ethernet adapter makers don't tell you what chip their product is based on. It is the case with the Linksys USB3GIG too, which sadly does not mention RTL8153 anywhere in its specification.You can try to use the link I provide below, to download the RTL8153 driver for OS X.
