Answer:	Hi Michelle, I'll help you as best I can. I bought this by mistake (I have a D7100 and not a D7000), but I am going with the fact that there is probably not much between the MB-D11 and the MB-D15 as they look fairly similar. (I have the latter for my D7100). Mine weighs 9.3 oz (263.65 g) excluding batteries. It will take an additional Nikon battery, so the life you get out of that is the same as you would normally. (Remember, it does not come with a battery, you have to get those separately). I can also take 6 x AA batteries, but I cannot comment on the hours on that one. Hope that helps a bit.
Question:	Does it extend height wise
Answer:	It never offset the other battery. But it depends on how long you leave the camera unused. The batteries does get discharged eventually after days but slowly.
Question:	Is there an illustration for iPad set up? There are no instructions
Answer:	Nikon MB-D11 for the 7000 is rock steady for me. Also gives me more mass to keep the camera steady. It also uses the same 9000mAH Li-ion as the D-800 so I have 6 sets of batteries that I keep charged up for a trip for both cameras. I shoot only NEF (raw) so both cameras use a lot of juice.
