Lunch stayed warm and happily-eatable after sitting 4-5 hours in a 50°F-60°F car. So I would say at least 5 hours, but it's plenty safe and tasty at 7 hours. |

| Answer: | Definitely don't boil it. I know some put hot water in it for a few minutes to heat it up, but I don't. Just make sure your food is really warm/hot when you put it in. I use it for my son's lunch almost every day. |
