Answer:	Yes, it does retain carbonation. I have had seltzer water, ice and lime slices in mine and it stayed cold, icy and bubbly for at least 2 hours. I'm sure it would've lasted longer, but I drank it by then.

Answer:	I’m not sure what you mean about a seam but there is no seam on the cup, if that’s what you’re asking. I actually have my cup right now and tried about 10 different srart8ng points for screwing the lid on and it always adds up the same way, handle on the right side of drinking hole. I have a leftie kid and my hubby epoxied handles on cups for her many times..otherwise, I can’t seem to find a way to make this a left handed cup. Sorry. It’s really a nice mug.

Answer:	Just make sure the gasket goes in the same way that it came out and is seated correctly

Answer:	Good luck. I had to buy a whole new one cuz they don’t sell just the seal and all of the lids are different from each other.

Answer:	For me, the snapseal is better. Both will provide a complete seal with no spilling. The auto seal mechanism means the mug is always sealed, and you depress a button to activate a spring mechanism to allow flow through the spout. The snapseal you flip up and it opens, but it stays open until you flip the mechanism down. Here is why the snapseal is better - over time the spring mechanism in the autoseal will accumulate "coffee product" in and around the spring, which is difficult to clean without completely disassembling the lid. The snapseal doesn't accumulate this material, and is much easier to clean because it is a simpler mechanism overall.

The only time I have had leak issues is if the seal between lid and mug isn't clean. Simply cleaning this surface insures a tight leak free experience. You can test this by simply turning the mug over a sink, if no leaks, you should have no problems through the day! I have owned several since 2012 or before and plan to buy more. I need to stop leaving them in the airport shuttles!

Answer:	No idea
Question:	Does the ceramic lining have 'cracks' at the base and along one side, where the edges come together, like the stainless steel mugs do? Hard to clean
Answer:	No , I just looked and no seams and no cracks anywhere on the cup , inside or out. Bought this for my wife as it is thinner and fits her hand well and it has a sliding open close top that I like better than the flip top styles. Great cup !

Answer:	About a foot tall maybe 13 inches.. fits the hole in your car for drinks

Answer:	hand wash only! If you put it in the dishwasher, the glue that holds the ceramic in place will eventually dissolve and your mug will fall apart... I speak from experience :-(

- Careful! Your freshly brewed coffee might be very hot. Let it cool down with the lid off for a few minutes before attaching the lid and heading out the door, and keep the hot coffee out of the reach of children (kids shouldn't drink coffee anyway).

How to use Autoseal.

-To sip your drink, press the Autoseal button with your travel mug in an upright position. Then, holding the button down, tilt the mug to take a drink (that releases any built-up pressure). Savor the sweet taste of caffeine, then release the button for it to automatically seal. Easy, right?

Do's and don'ts.

-Your Autoseal lid opens whenever the button is pressed — whether it's you pressing the button or a loose pen in your backpack. Avoid accidental spills by keeping the Autoseal button free and clear of other objects. We don't recommend carrying filled travel mugs in your bag while on-the-go (it's safer for your cell phone this way). Finally, keep your travel mug out of the microwave and the freezer.
