2 tablespoons canola oil or other neutral cooking oil, 4 cups fresh or frozen yellow corn (thawed if frozen), 2 cloves garlic (minced), 2 small jalapeño peppers (seeded & minced), 3 tablespoons crumbled cotija cheese, 2 tablespoons mayonnaise or sour cream, 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro, 1 ½ teaspoons Mexican-style chili powder, Juice from two limes, Kosher salt.

Directions: In a large cast iron skillet, heat oil on medium-high until shimmering. Using Chef'n Cob Corn Stripper (if using fresh corn), remove corn from cob. Answer:	This is by far the best tool for getting the corn off the cob! We have tried several different tools, but none work as good as the 'zipper'. We zip through at least 10 dozen every year, for the freezer with this tool and it takes us maybe an hour. Would highly recommend it.

Answer:	You can cook with the holders attached only if you are boiling the ears of corn. The holders are made of high quality food-grade plastic, but they are not cookware, and if exposed to high temperature such as from a broiler, air fryer, or barbecue grill, they will begin to melt. The boiling water temperature will not exceed 212 degrees Farenheit, and will not pose a problem. We actually prefer the grilled corn, and we simply attach the holders when the corn is ready to eat--no problem. These holders are THE BEST!

Answer:	Yes! I have done both. It slides easier on cooked corn but works well on raw too. Sometimes it's easier to shave the raw corn into a glass bowl with some butter and microwave, so you don't have to boil first.
