It does make it hot to hold the cup, so you might have to have a glove on or a paper towel around the cup or something. But the cup itself can take the boiling water just fine. Answer:	Yes, I drink hot coffee or hot water in this and no particular problem till now. Just the Silicon part become hot and softer due to the heat so be carful when you hold it^^

Question:	Would the cup melt if I placed boiling water in it
Answer:	I only use travel cup for cold or warm water. Mostly as Water glass when brushing teeth , Or taking medication on the go. Easy to use. Don’t think I would use it for hot liquids.

Answer:	Yes. open the cups with lid off; on top rack. they cleaned well!
Question:	Are the lids also dishwasher safe
Answer:	No they do not. But they are 8oz. filled to the top.

Answer:	No, they’re quite stable . And because of the metal ring around the top, it doesn’t collapse either.
