Answer:	Yes you can use ice cubes. This is a soft shell lunch bag, but it has been constructed to be used as a cooler and to withstand ice/water usage. Once you get a pool of water, it would be a good idea to empty the bag and not to let the water stand for a long period of time.

Answer:	Yes this is a great option for that. We use our bags religiously for beach outings, picnics, sporting events, and whenever we travel. The convenience of having this bag in your household are endless!

Answer:	Yes it does - if you recall how it was folded in its original packaging when you received it, you should have no problem folding it as such to fit in your suitcase. You can fold in the center edges where the side mesh pockets are, and then push the bottom in or out so the bag folds.
Question:	What are the dimensions
Answer:	The bag can fit 9 cans on one layer, and 18 in total if you double stack. 12 cans will fit easily, however if you're using an ice pack or ice cubes, it may be more difficult.

Answer:	The cooler bag is insulated but is not designed to maintain heat for several hours. A thermos is recommended for keeping hot food hot. Additionally, I do not recommend putting an extremely hot container inside the cooler bag as the inside could be damaged by excessive heat. If a cold lunch is packed, an ice block should be included to maintain a cold temp for several hours. Food should already be chilled when packed. Answer:	Yes, it came with the American Flag patch. There is room for two more patches side by side. I like the bag it seems well built and quality minded. I do not know how long anything will stay cold in it though. I only have 5 hours before my lunch hour and I keep the bag on my tool box until lunch time. My building stays around 70* year round.
