From what you’re saying I don’t think it would get that from your space to function properly. The door is flush so it opens like a typical refridge. You’d have to make sure the unit is out over the lip a bit to open easily in the space you’re putting it in. |

I have mine set up on a corner which doesn't allow me to swing the door open enough to give clearance for the racks to pull, but if you place it somewhere with enough space to open the door wide enough then you can pull the racks and be able to see what bottle you have. Now, that being said, you can pull half way and they racks would still be supported, but if you pull too much and with the weight of the bottles you would need your hand to support the rack.
