Answer:	Chives are small enough to dry whole then cut to size with a kitchen scissor. Also, there are silicone mesh tray inserts that can be cut to fit. I bought some for my trays and love them. Mine are about 1/2 inch too big for my trays but the mesh is so flexable that the extra fabric goes up the sides a little, which means I can spread food all the way th the edges without small bits going under the mesh.

Answer:	You sure can! Use the lowest setting of 95 degrees F. It comes with two herb drying trays that is plastic OR you can use parchment paper on the four stainless steel trays that come with the unit. My suggestion is to leave the herbs on the stems because small loose leaves might blow around inside the unit as the fan is fairly strong.

Answer:	I slice organic chicken breast and put a slice of banana, my dog loves it. Chicken hearts, $160, about 80 pieces, nice treat and cheap!!!! I was in petco and baught a dried chicken foot for a dollar so I baught a package of chicken feet at the grocery store for $1.79 and got 27 feet, I brush honey on them and my dog loves them. Answer:	It is a food grade plastic. Yes, you can wash it. I just use dish soap and warm water.

Answer:	Yes, the holes are only about 1/16" and would work for corn. The holes are small enough that wheat would not fall through.

Answer:	I've used an iron, or better yet, I've soaked the netting in very hot water and when removed placed on flat surface with a large baking pan on top with some weight in it until it cools. I leave it that way for storage also.
