Answer:	It does not slide but is on a hinge.

I am unable to get the lever to stay down if the slots are empty but the toaster is not plugged in. So it lets you know that something is wrong. Answer:	Not sure where it is made, but wouldn’t recommend. Toaster broke after 6 months. Warranty is 1 year but customer service denied it was still covered. After a few calls and emails they finally agreed to replace the toaster but wanted $12.50 for shipping. There are better toasters.

Answer:	It came with a pan and the wire grate. Great oven. The only issue is that ours came dirty. We had to clean it. So don't be surprised. They are used and the manufacture doesn't clean them.

Answer:	Of course it's hot if you touch it, but I didn't notice any ambient heat in my kitchen or in the area of the toaster oven. It is much cooler than using a regular oven in your kitchen.
Question:	Is the element under the cook rack? In the oven I have now sometimes cheese will drip onto the element and burn and that is undesirable
Answer:	Yes, the two uncovered elements are directly under the cook rack. But I wrap the included baking sheet in foil and place it on it's separate rack just beneath the wire rack and that catches all drips while still allowing my toast to get crispy (I make little french bread pizzas). I prefer it to my last toaster which had small metal covers over the elements that the cheese would burn onto.

Answer:	Difficult even impossible to clean. There is a tray but the toaster is designed so that crumbs are at a place they can not be cleaned. Otherwise this is a very nice toaster if it were not for this design flaw. I esp like the button you can push for the bread to pop up.

Answer:	No, it has no scent to it. This only works in small rooms like a restroom area. This is not for bedrooms. These filters last about 3 months before you need to replace them. In reality you can use them for close to 5 months just depends. (As Jenine M. Sciascia mentioned they do make some with a Febreeze scent, so check the box before you buy. The ones with Febreeze -usually- have the Febreeze logo on the front of the box.)

Question:	Does the tray slide out when the door is opened
Answer:	Hi Fred, no there isn't an outside water level. You have to look into the opening where you fill the water into. Inside you'll see a line to see how much water you need to put in. For us it isn't a big deal to do. Usually we fill it every morning and that seems to work for us. We keep 4 gallons of water on hand each time we fill it so we aren't scrambling to fill them when it's low. On really cold days I'll check the level in the evening to make sure it has enough water overnight. This is the second winter using it and it makes a lot of difference in the air moisture throughout our house which is 1400 square feet. With that being said, we are very happy with it.

Answer:	Filters are no longer packaged in anything. Instead, the company has decided to just ship filters in the shipping box with nothing else. My filters were contaminated upon arrival and I didn’t realize until 13 days later after I could hardly breath. After figuring out it must be the filters I threw them in the garbage, removed the humidifiers from my home, and my breathing went back to normal. I have a lot of experience with this product through the years so I know the filters are getting contaminated during shipping. When I called the company I was told they no longer use any packaging for the filters. They did not seem to care about my health or the health of others. If you value your health you need to find another brand. Reputable companies will seal their filters in plastic wrap. Don’t make the same mistake I did and trust this company. They changed their name from Essick Air to Air Care and use this seller as a front to avoid liability for their extremely negligent business decisions. This has been an absolute nightmare for me and I hope to inform others so as they do not have to go through the same thing or have their health permanently damaged. Proceed at your own risk!

Bought this model mid-winter, last year (2018)....had the same issue with it randomly just kicking in to loud fan noise, yet fan speed was not turned up. In fact, I had shut the unit off over night (did not unplug) and unit turned in randomly by itself and sounded like an airplane landing and then would just go back to normal .....and other times it just cycles off for a few seconds and then turns back on....each one of these instances, plenty of water....I am about over this product.

Answer:	I've used mine for about 2 1/2 years 2 or 3 times a week. My backsplash is just 1980s style formica and I have it pushed back to the stops on the oven. I pull it out once a week to clean and have not seen any damage. I assume it can get hot just keep an eye on it until you figure it out. Also I never depend on the temp being what it's set on, most things I fry or bake are at 225 to 300 degrees and have developed quite good skills on this thing
