Answer:	There are 2 Bake settings: Bake with a fan-like symbol and Bake/pizza. I think the one with the fan-like symbol is the convection setting.

Answer:	The timer lower dial can be rotated clockwise for timer function. In addition, you can turn the oven on by rotating it left, counterclockwise to about 10:00 where it will click in place and the power on light lit. In this mode no timer is activated so watch the time so you do not overcook your food. Hope this helps

Answer:	No there isn't. There is a thermal switch which turns off the elements before the toast is done when you try to toast two consecutive slices of bread. A very bad idea.

Answer:	It does get very warm. I have it next to other items and so far no trouble.

Answer:	No. So you have to ask Alexa to set timer or set it on your oven. I think it's crazy to have a toaster oven for baking with no way to turn it off without setting a timer that isn't on the oven. If you forget to set a timer and get involved in something else and the stove stays on, it seems easy that someone could burn their house down.

Answer:	Wide 15" There is 2 small lips that come out on the bottom about 1/4" / Depth 12" + 2" for handle / Tall 9". I really like the features of the oven, however the tray for baking is not easy to clean. Every other parts are very easy to keep clean. (you are right the dimensions listed do not match the actual size) I find it just right for what I want.

Answer:	For toast I let this toaster oven preheat for a minute on the toast setting. I then toast on one side for a minute and turn the toast over and give it another 1 to 1/2 minutes depending on the characteristics of the bread. The result to me is perfect. Far better results than in any of the toasters I've used and that includes the expensive Breville's.
Question:	I own one and one of the lower heating rods has warped upwards and the outer "casing" has even broken through. Has anyone else had this problem
Answer:	I don't know how long we own ours, but it feels like a long time (years) and we're having the same problem with the heating rod & outer casing. It looks like it's going to catch on fire any minute. Also. it has become increasingly difficult to open the crumb catcher drawer that's supposed to pull open. I was going to order another Cuisinart from Amazon, but first I decided to read the comments. Boy! So many similar negative comments. I pull it out once a week to clean and have not seen any damage. I assume it can get hot just keep an eye on it until you figure it out. Also I never depend on the temp being what it's set on, most things I fry or bake are at 225 to 300 degrees and have developed quite good skills on this thing

Answer:	I've had mine about 4 months now and none of the lettering has rubbed off. It's a great toaster oven easy to use and works very well.

Answer:	I am not sure. I think it maybe that the housing of the unit gets hot to the touch. To me it seems as though it does not have an insulation barrier to keep the exterior portion of the unit cool. There should be warning labels. Also the unit cooks quickly. So for instance if you are toasting bread, it does not need the same amount of time a toaster does to toast. It is much quicker. I have also found with these ovens that the cooling off of the oven after use varies. This unit, when you are finished cooking at high temperatures, leave the door open and it cools off quickly. Leaving the door closed after use - the oven takes quite awhile to cool off. I use this unit strictly for camping. We have an exterior kitchen set-up and so far we have had great meals.I hope this feedback helps as you consider the unit.

Answer:	The broiler pan and rack appear to be, since it has not rusted in all the time I have owned the oven using it under steam settings often. I am disappointed that the interior rack appears not to be stainless because it has rusted. I do think that it may have been prevented, though I did not know it was rusting in time, by leaving the door ajar to let the remaining steam dry out. Even though it has rusted, it is still usable and I would still purchase the oven because I love and use it that much!

Answer:	I would say that the Prop 65 warning is because of the plastic water reservoir. I would imagine that the water gets warm or even hot sitting on the side of the hot oven and it’s sitting in the plastic which is then being leached into the water. That’s my guess. I’m concerned with these toxic chemicals and it’s the first thing I thought of. Too bad, because everything else about it seems perfect and I was wanting to try it! see less

Answer:	I just read in another review that it is nickel-infused steel, which doesn't disqualify it as "stainless steel" but is a lower grade of stainless steel. A non-toxic countertop oven/broiler is truly the Holy Grail. I already tried the Waring model most-cited for being non-stick free, but it's also impossible to clean if you use the broiler on anything that might splatter. And yes, that oven is aluminized steel. I'm almost ready to just spend the extra money for this one. Almost.

Answer:	For those of us that understand physics, wood conducts and dissipates heat easily, so keeping this on a wooden table or in a wooden cabinet is absolutely and completely safe. The ignition temp of Wood is around 500 to 650 degrees farenheit. If you have the temp on the oven set to 450, the metal around it will reduce that temp, so unless you have it set to around 700 degrees or so, your cabinets and house are safe.
