Answer:	Thicker than the frozen kind. I use a waffle mix and add milk instead of water too.

Answer:	I cannot be sure what the machine does - it does have the indicator light which functions but I have never relied on those on any waffle iron I have had. I always watch the steam and when it stops I know the waffle is done. I have not been sorry I bought this style and it makes delicious waffles everytime.

Answer:	No, it really doesn't. I have a cheap waffle maker that doesn't flip and it cooks perfectly on both sides. I had this flip waffle maker at one time and the handle connections broke while trying to wash it. It maybe had a dozen uses before breaking.

Answer:	Not at all. Just go light on oil to crisp breads. Let it cool a little and wipe with a moist paper towel or sponge and it's clean. I LOVE this product! Answer:	This is made for 110volt wiring.

Answer:	It will cook most any kind of batter. However, I do not have this waffle maker anymore. It failed some months ago after approximately 3 years of service and it was discarded and replaced with a different brand of waffle maker.
Question:	Does it make a sound to let you know the waffle is ready
Answer:	It doesn't make any sound. The light goes on when it's heating, and doesn't indicate doneness. Watch the steam -- when there's not much steam being generated, the waffle is done. Be patient. Timing doesn't seem to be critical, except to avoid underdone waffles. My personal cheat is to use milk rather than water. It seems to deliver a sweeter crust.
Question:	The pin that holds the top on has broke. Can I get replacements for it anywhere? If so, how
Answer:	Mine broke early on and I contacted the company. The replacement hinges they sent free of charge also broke. I put large steel bolts (from a hardware store) into the hinges and they have worked for years.

Question:	How do you know if the bagel button is on or off? There is no light and it doesnt get pushed in and out
Answer:	The buttons have to be turned on each time after you push down the lever, they click slightly when pushed. When the toast pops up or you hit the cancel button, it cancels all other buttons and you start over with the next time you toast. I haven't even used it yet, just got it today but I was interested to figure it out because of this question. The instructions do tell you that the buttons cancel out with the cancel button. Read your instuctions again.

Answer:	It has decent specs, but it runs a little hot. The case is also a little basic, I recommend adding some some custom lighting. So far I've only played "I am Bread" on it, but it worked fine. The dual DVD+R burners are pretty nifty too; I don't know what speed they are, but it burns them pretty fast.
